Price at times plays a physchological factor in determining the quality of an item.

I utterly dislike stories that flash back and fourth in time. Disconnects viewers from where they are with the actual build of present events. Writers think this type of mystery box gimmick might keep viewers further engaged with questions (as if they're not confident of their own writing so have to over analyze "mystery"), but I wholeheartedly just want to see a story unfold as I'm there.

Epic. Thanks for the detailed feedback. Greatly appreciated. I see Mandarake as it from 48k to 50k Yen.

And that there... is a Lego Death Star!!!

It's recycled mass produced plastic that barely has a lifespan of a few decades. Certainly not even $400 on my end... let alone $800... 😅

Don't recall this mech in any of Macross... Tamashi effects - Sold seperately.

When I first opened the link, I was like, "what 18 Euro for a bootleg of this size, yeah, I'll have to try it regardless of the potential lead hazard". Then I realized the price is actually for the stickers. 🤣

Because Lego + Disney know there's a large number of SW fans that got to have it all regardless the price. They could package in a SW branded box actual rubber dogpoo and sell out. First key in any business "Know your customer". And do they know it. As I brought up earlier, this isn't a Lego toy for kids nor an actual display piece for adults seeing all the inaccuracies for that price. It's just a expensive slapped together "homage" gimmick for those willing to spend this kind of money for home deco. PS, the shuttle section really is intended to be from ROTJ.
-
The largest section is the Shuttle landing from ROTJ. But why is Vader's meditation chamber there (beneath the meeting room)? It also includes figures of Galen and Krennic on the base.

Ask yourself this? How bad do you really need it? Lets be honest, once you get, you'll play and admire it for a week, and then your attention will be on the next thing, and 20 things later, it will be well forgotten to the point of an ordinary vase in your home.

[Netflix] ONE PIECE Live Action Series
Raikkonen replied to no3Ljm's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Would have thought after the success of season 1, they would have moved away from the cheap TV lighting...- 104 replies

A toy company that takes a kids brand to make a playset for kids as a display piece not aimed for kids, instead for adult collectors but only for the 1% of those collectors and cost's $1000.00. Their marketing team is drunk during office hours. I would have rather had each room sold seperately over the span of some years to assemble the full final Death Star as above. Covers both toys for kids and the displayability for adults, and gets money from all of them.

Maybe. But I've expereinced the same with all my Amazon Japan orders of the last couple of years, sometimes even an increase to what it showed me initially.

Hulu doesn't cares much of a sending off. It's got it's money and it's already absorbed by Disney minus the rebranding launch. There seems to the usual online demand for the eventual new cross over. Perhaps the success of this series and Badlands will lead to it.

At least they're not doing Netflix's gimmick of releasing half a season, then the other half some months matter.

With all my orders from Japan generally, and HLJ too, the initial shipping costs are likely an estimate. This is likely due to exchange rates. Also had this with my recent HLJ order and I'm in Europe. Shipping was 32 Euro, then ended up being 26 Euro.

I love the phantom since my dad built and painted a Tamiya kit of it for me when I was a kid. But if I would to invest in a display piece of it, I'd just get a Hobbymasters diecast to fully show all it's sexy lines. That said, I really appreciate Brick Veteran's efforts in his, minus the canopy and the general underneath of the wings in all such mocs. Lego needs to invest in more variety of inverted curved and angle tiles.
