Not to derail the thread guys, for those who are Trekkies/Trekkers (which is the correct terminology that should be used?), the Eaglemoss XL Defiant (from DS9) is now available. https://st-starshipsxl.com/shop/ Hopefully that the detailed work is better (?) than the smaller versions. Should thought of using that first.. I'll give that a go and then give it a good wash down. Air dry for day and see the results. Will have to get the three Macross Tenjin art books when my funds recover. -
Checked your post at 2 am PST and back up to the regular price of 22k yen eight hours later. Edit: Mirage's 31c is 26.5k yen?! What was the original price for Mirage upon release (24k yen I'm guessing)?

Thanks for the tips! I did open the box afterwards and did get the oily film on the wedding dress. I was going to air it out after all the 20+ years in the box and give all the three figures a good bath with a mixture of dish washing liquid/warm water. Will have to get a acrylic clear coat spray from either Wally World/Michaels. -
Don't know about others; however, the slip cover on top of Arad's 31s (fully illustrated) with the Dragon Motif on the bottom right corner looks very eye catching when I watched Chu-taro's reviews. Arad's 31 valk has the only version in full colour while others had the line art. Others' opinion may differ upon choice.

I don't know about others here in this thread; however, the Thunder Hummer set up really reminds me of Stark's Hall of Fame Armour from Mk. 1 to 7 on Figuarts format.

Managed to get a Miria 639 for her Q-Rau. Paid $137 USD via Amazon on the 17th and got delivered today 40 mins ago while getting a late lunch at home even though it said the delivery date is the 6th to 21st of next month.

Or better yet.. The wife's turn since her last review of S.H. Figuarts Fre Fre and Kumo Kumo. Either Jenius or Wotafa will do for me (the reason why I choose Wotafa is because of his Tokusatu reviews).

Glad to see there's movement.. Here are some of my observations based on this resin copy: (1) No sliding pins to lock the wings together on the bottom of the wings as per the Yammie versions. The larger double folded hinges are used to keep the two separate pieces of the wings together in terms of cohesiveness (this that the proper wording for it)? (2) Interesting choice to bring back the Yamato valk stand even though some people stay that its a mess to begin with. Note that there are no screws present on this version as per the Yamato version (possibly better ratchets and stronger joints used this time). (3) A Possibly is that the white areas are the stronger or better molding methods for the hinges, nosecone area, and the shins in battriod mode. Note that all three Yammie versions of the Sukoi had its flaws (even Ivanoff's 51 had a second run.)

Interesting... I haven't received any emails from Amiami in regarding the date changes to my pre-order of the HMR Super O (checked the inbox and junk folder). I guess that Amiami will send the notice close to payment date of late August/early September (and for those who are using Amiami as well)?

Shaking my head in response to @Alex GS post.. Roughly two and half thousand USD for the Karios?? On ebay.ca, it's $3.2k CND and there's some listed at $1.2k CDN. That's pure black market and blood money right there.. The highest I've seen for the Karios on the proxies was 80K yen (may have dropped in price since more of the 31a is being released). Arad's 31 on Ebay Canada has the lowest listing from $320 CND to the highest $450 CND. I don't think that there is the option to... It depends on the sellers discretion (and the fees that are used for the listings)

And gone!! Going to pick up a copy of Arad once my funds gets back up on par and to weed out my ever growing hobby collection. Wasn't Mirage's 31c widely accepted after since Messer's 31f and Hayate's [both the 31j and the Kai variant] valks where hot sellers to begin with?

The Destroids? I haven't seen Arcadia doing the Destroids yet as it looks like there going staying with the valks as of now (their comfort zone). I have see a few listings of the Yammie Destroids floating around on the actions and inquiring about the QC on those. If anyone has them and can fill me in on it, I might be interested in getting a few for my collection.

Have you tried the looking around for the Figuarts version? Totally different offerings I know. Isn't that a Richkor robe for Obi-wan?
