  1. My bad, I checked yesterday and it's not the April issue... I think it's the previous one but it's definitely from the review of Macross Ace that appeared in NewType.
  2. NewType magazine, april issue (the one with the pink Gundam on the cover )

DX VF-25S Armor prototype (posted by QuinJester) http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...st&p=729041 edit: learning to use the post link
  5. On a related note, I guess some of you like this magazine (like me) so : Release date: March 24th link: http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%95%E3%82%A3...2128&sr=1-3
  6. I just got mine yesterday and I haven't tried the stand BUT... even in the always-useful FlexiStand, it's a pain to balance the VF-25G because of the rifle. I guess I'll go with your improvised card holder!
  7. It actually includes the sniper rifle AND the standard gunpod... a nice bonus!
  8. Another look at the proto Armor Pack, courtesy of Amazon Japan: link: http://www.amazon.co.jp/DX%E8%B6%85%E5%90%.../ref=pd_sim_t_2
  9. According to Amazon Japan, the release date has been shifted to May
  10. In the "checklist" on the box, the Super and Armored packs are mentioned. If they ever release them, I think we'll get new molds of the VF-25... maybe these parts won't be removeable. Unlike the DX, I can't see any connecting points in the VF-25F for the Super pack...
  11. Thanks for the link!! I wonder.. what does the "G" behind the Macross Frontier logo stand for?
  12. Mattel is doing the same with Mattycollector.com, so I agree with Graham... maybe this is the future for products for niche franchises. The only (big) difference is that Mattel ships worldwide. Or maybe the tamashii shop also ships worldwide and my only barrier is the language? edit: sp
  13. In the April issue of NewType there's something called "Macross F Intermission", possibly news about the movie. Has anybody been able to get this mag? edit: sp
  14. Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive Ghost and Weapons Set. http://www.tamashii.jp/event/event_t.php?eid=00031
  15. I would add: 4) Make the gunpods collapse and include just one (and in a decent plastic tray that doesn't bend them) 5) Try to avoid replacing parts that can be designed to work in any mode (ie. tailfins) 6) Include a box for the remaining parts or at least sell a Macross-themed case for them (like the Haro Multi-box - http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN956193 -)
  16. Nice! One question though: If Ranka is 25 mm tall... doesn't that make her taller / bigger than the actual pilots?
  17. The VF100's VF-25 looks very good on the SMS base! http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-88669-1-1.html Hmm... there's no "Flashback" section, so if the VF-4 is ever released I guess it'll go under DYRL
  18. The base connector that comes with the VF-25 for Gerwalk mode attaches to the back of the legs, thus avoiding the spread leg Gerwalk pose I found the stand that Bandai is promoting for the VF100's and man, is it lame. Good thing is that the Bandai pramo stand also works for fighter: ... using this piece: The only problem is that the legs drop down way more than the model kit
  19. I'll try the stand attachment for battroid mode tomorrow. And I'll also check if there's a way to use this stand for fighter mode...
  20. It was actually me (the shield note) Regarding the attachments for the stand, I tried using the simplest Bandai stand and... it works for Gerwalk: It's the same stand that can be used for the CM's Mospeada Ride Armors.
  21. I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually get a totally retooled version, especially if the designs for the movie turn out to be different. After all, they've been doing that in other lines.
  22. Hmm... not really. Remember the v.1 1/60 VF-1's and the FAST Packs? As Graham mentioned, it indeed looks as if Bandai is now in the stage that Yamato was 7 years ago.
