  1. Remember getting one for $9.99 from KayBee (I think) way back when. Knew I should have bought two.
  2. Hardly. All the MC's did was give a quantification for "the Force is strong in my family." Despite what you might read on the intarw3b, Causation was not established... merely correlation. I'm more interested in knowing now the Knight in Last Crusade learned such good (and modern!) English.
  3. I could see Red Dawn redone well. Always thought that movie was a bit overrated, though. Robocop remake could only be a travesty, though. Do a new or maybe "next" robocop maybe...
  4. Indeed, I've noticed that, too. Growing far less skeptical than I was originally. Still a bit annoyed at lebouf being in this but shouldn't be too hard to get over it.
  5. Voted No on informative and yes, satisfied. Some of the guys get a little annoying with their repetiveness, but I have a mental filter for them. I have 5 x 1/60 VF-1, 1 x 1/60 YF-19FP, 3 x 1/48 VF-1,1 x 1/72 YF-21FP, and 1/72 VF-19A
  6. My YF-19FP r0x0rs. I am very much looking forward to adding the YF-21!
  7. That would be nice. Just for reference, the Ultimate Collectors Lego sets go for (MSRP): $300 for the Star Destroyer and $500 for the Falcon.
  8. Hopefully we'll see some legit troop builder packs, reminiscent of the ones that made TRU a couple years ago. The Red CG one with the red CC and red Baroness would be nice. I'd prefer to keep Red CC, red Baroness and maybe red Tomax/Xamot as a "leader" pack. Dream packs would include: Cobra Trooper: 4 x Trooper, 1 x Officer/NCO Crimson Guard: 4 x CG, 1 x CG Officer/NCO Joe Grunt: 4 x greenshirts/bodies x 1NCO. You get the point lol but expand that to Vipers (5 x silver, 1 bronze mask), BATs (5 x identical BAT), Iron Grenadiers, etc etc
  9. Pot, this is kettle, over. We've obviously beaten this to death. Not sure what sort of response you hoped to evoke with your type of post. As you're questioning BSU on rules, look up trolling? You've opined this theory before. I think ANH and ESB are just as silly as Raiders and ROTJ and ultimately the same type of movie. You are, though maybe not intentionally... just by the structure of your argument against the newer movies you don't like. Yes, I labelled certain arguments as that. The raped childhood types are exemplary of the fanboy rant. If I wasn't clear, the "height of hubris" was not your opinion (which we've all been exposed to here many times, but your implication that anyone who can't notice your criticisms is lacking in "discrimination." We've seen your arguments in the past, and as you alluded, I've ridiculed it in the past. You had to have known your post would inspire a reaction... so the only question is whether you forgot me and the others who have debated you on this at least a half dozen times... or if you were trolling to dig it up again. It can be fun from time to time, but your reaction to what you should have expected is surprising. Unless you're just aping mock outrage and I'm misreading it. In the interests of a friendlier SW and Indy, I'd suggest you avoid such odious posting unless you're prepared to reap what you sow.
  10. It's the height of hubris for you to claim you and the other prequel haters are "discriminating" while those that like (if not prefer) them lack in such skills. From an artistic/merit point of view, all of the Star Wars (and Indiana Jones) movies are all vapid and just about worthless. That applies to the vast majority of popular science fiction (and fantasy), as well. Lucas' genius is mostly in visuals and SFX and somewhat less in the synthesis he used from the original elements he has always openly admitted to. Ultimately all of these movies are about a recreation of the serials he watched and enjoyed as a kid. That material is undeniably campy and every Star Wars and Jones movie has done it justice. Seeing anything more in to these movies is the very definition of fanboyism. It's the self delusion into seeing substance in IV or V or Raiders while claiming Lucas lost his touch or some such tripe, when he's only improved on the strengths in his craft. The ultimate fanboy is one who thinks he could have done it "better" on some aesthetic issue that has never been a strength in the subjects in question, certainly not in intent, and smacks of circular logic at best, if not the outright fallacy I think it is. But if you want a popcorn munching action flick, the Star Wars (and Indiana Jones) movies are the cream of the crop and, for the most part, each one gets better. Gone are the strings on the TIE Fighters and good riddance.
  11. Hasbo has definitely done their nod and wink to the collectors market, usually with exclusives (hello Mandalorian sets). I would love to see something comparable to the USS Flagg done for this Star Wars line. It doesn't need to go to mass retail, either, but could be limited to the Star Wars shop or Habro's online store and maybe a single retailer exclusive. I was eyeballing the Ultimate Lego Falcon the other day at Downtown Disney and that thing is awesome. A Flagg-sized Falcon would work to appease the Collectors and they could gor the kids with another iteration of their underscaled and gimmicked version at the same time.
  12. I use Opera (with the same settings, bookmarks, and wand passwords) on my Apples (MBP and Mini), my PC's (both Linux and Windows), and my cell phone (Symbian). It supports flash and MPG.
  13. Or rather, some people can't get the rosy colored glasses from their raped childhoods off? I rank the Star Wars movies VI, III, I, II, V, IV I do Like Last Crusade the best of the Indy Trilogy, too.
  14. Ugh, I hate hate hate that ball joint. Why coudln't they give him the Cobra Commander waist jacket at least, with a new sculpt around it? Ditto for the CG.
  15. All they need to do is let Opera do a port for the PS3 and I would be happy. Now that I have DTS-HDMA, I don't really need anything else. I suppose in-game XMB would be nice...
  16. Wish I coulda had cheap toys like those when I was a kid! Well not the dolls, but the cheapo knock-offs are ok.
  17. Picked up Snake Eyes v3 today. Love him. I wish the sword had holes in it. Seem to remember the vintage having holes. STill have the vintage fig but can't find the sword for hte life of me. I think they made the Uzi too big, especially the grip. I like the knives and the NVGs. The 3 piece rod is pretty weird for Snake Eyes to have, but love the rest of the fig. Oh yeah, I hate the ball joint at the mid torso. Such a bad spot for it. I think I would prefer a plain swivel waist to that ball.
  18. Season 2 blew chunks. Hopefully Season 3 can recapture some of Season 1.... Sylar should have died, though, as should Peter. Grumble, grumble.
  19. I didn't think either of those was that bad. Just gotta know when to tuck tail and run. Choose your battles.
  20. Patch is already out for PS3.
  21. Amazon Buy 3 for the Price of 2: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=...ocId=1000225131
  22. Was able to pass on this in theaters... but will definitely catch the BD release.
  23. The Blu-ray should fix that, hopefully with a PCM track.
  24. I like the toll thing. If I'm in a rush, it's fairly easy to get out of the popo search zone, unless you're in a big heavy truck or something. The trick to the gunfights is the quick aiming, not manually turning around. I really like the cover system they got going, though.
  25. Yeah, sounds like phishing to me. Hopefully you didn't log in from any of the links. If you do, go to the browser and manually type in the www.ebay.com and log in and change your shiznit asap.
