Maybe they call pull a "stepping out of the shower" and still have Sylar die with Nathan... it was all in Peter's head as a "what if?"

Still doesn't make sense, at least for that reason. It's not like the 60/20GB hardware compatible versions are missing much BC that they need to have it added at all. A better (though still stupid) reason would be that they don't want to track different forms of the software for their testing environment (still doesn't really gel, though). I'll make sure I buy another one if they ever do that and take my 60/160 off the net, though. I wish the gunmetal one was an 80 (if not a 60) or I might have gotten that one. That said, the PS2 BC was more of an initial concern than one that pertains today. I was still playing PS2 games last year but haven't touched one all year. It's still better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, though. The SACD support is much more important to me, these days, being a nascent fan into the format.

Nice to see the IG's, the greenshirts and that CG pack. Even if I hate that waist ball joint and wish they went Cobra Commander style on the CG's, I'ma have to get that pack. Want a Cobra blueshirt pack with 4 grunts, 1 NCO/officer. Give them AK-47's instead of SKS... the Mobat was one of my first GI Joe toys too. Wonder if it will have the motorized tracks.... The Conquest looks much like the vintage. I was kinda hoping they would "realify" it with black/gray engine nozzles and gray/white missiles with markings, if not a low-viz/stealth scheme. Guess thats' what customizing is for... That Duke would look great except for the ugly ass wrist joint/mold. They need to give him a watch or something and move the joint to the wrist itself.

Heh, already started downloading a few minutes ago.

Who wants Inbit Gosu/Commander Mecha??? (and others)
Uxi replied to ruskiiVFaussie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I want them in scale. GI Joe sized shock trooopers sound great. I'd get at least 5 or 6... -
If they make it even half as realistic as the BBI, I will get 2 of the YF-23.

I loved my Phantom X-19. Had it in mint condition and my parents gave it away. I had 2 Night Ravens but IIRC one part was broken on both of them... annoyed the hell out of me...

I looooove my YF-21. Wish the t-bar thing wasn't cracked on one end.
-
I want a VF-22 and VF-19F/S and then a VF-17 first, but most likely do a VF-4 after all that.
-
I like the VF-22S (close enough to YF-21) followed by the Metal Siren 1) VF-22S/YF-21 2) Metal Siren 3) YF-19/VF-19A 4) VF-2SS-SAP 5) VF-17S 6) VF-1S

Wow, those look REALLY REALLY good. Instead of pestering my friend to give me back my boot set, I think I need to start downloading and burning these...

LIVE ACTION ROBOTECH (WB gets the rights)
Uxi replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Oh I agree. I definitely think the new BSG isn't half as good as it should have been. Definitely overrated but far better than everything else out there in sci-fi on tv right now... which isn't saying much. Then where they had good opportunities (Dirk Benedict as Cain for God's sake! Instead of the flattop-bull-dyke-Ro-Laren), they wasted them. Way too much Lee angst, too. And let Stands with a Fist die already! "Remake" is the most appropriate term for Robotech compared to Macross. Kinda like the new Battlestar:Galactica with the old. Only if they had the done the changes to the new one with edits and called Dirk Benedict's character something else while calling the "Athena" character "Starbuck" and using choice edits to make "Count Iblis" the "Grand Poobah" and making the snowflake ship of lights guys the Lords of Kobol. This movie can either be very very good or will be very very bad. I'm leaning on the latter... Best case scenario, it ends up like Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor. A movie I would buy on Blu-ray for the action scenes and skip past all the love schmuck. Kinda like I do with my Animeigo Macross DVDs. -
Eh, I would happily start on an open Beta.

Just haven't been interested in much since I got my Snake Eyes v3. If they do some real Army Builders, I'll be down. Especially some Iron Grenadiers to go with my IG Destro.
-
They need to come out with Home already. And a silver 80GB.
-
Just get the FP. It's better in every way and you take the FP off.

Love my YF-19FP and love my YF-21FP. with FP, I prefer the YF-19. So streamlined and smooth and I see the lines/evolution to VF-19F/S, as well there. The 21, however, loses much of it's lean stature with teh FP. Naked, it's the bomb, though, and easily my favorite Valkyrie. From the Q-rau roots of Battroid to awesome fighter mode.

I want to see a Low-Viz with dual shades of light/dark grays... -
First, I'd want a PS3 port with english subs of VFX2. Then, I'd essentially want a VF-X3, that progresses from Macross Zero through Macross Frontier Everything from VF-0 and SV-51 through VF-1A/J/S/X, VF4, VF11B/C, VF17, YF-19, YF-21, VF-19A/F/S, VF-22, and VF-25. They could throw in the Varauta, Protodevlin, Zentraedi (at least the Regult, Glaug, Gnerl, Nos-Ger and Q-Rau), and Destroids for multiplayer but have them as enemy in single player Destroid deathmatches would be a blast. 100+ in multiplayer would be nice, but I'd probably be happy with 48-64. I'd be happy using an "ordinary" HOTAS setup (love the Thrustmaster Cougar I was able to get on clearance from CompUSA) and pedals.

Kinda chunkier with the FP. I like the YF-19 so much more with FP... but unlike the 1/72 I prefer my 1/60 YF-21 without FP. Usually even without the gunpods. Eyeballing the VF-22S, it's just a new face, cockpit and belly plates, right? -

No homebrew aps or anything so nothing to worry about. Yet. Realistically it's difficult to see anything malicious going for the forseeable future. -
Brave. Not the color scheme I would have done but it looks well executed. I keep having visions of doing a low-viz VF-19A... but am not nearly brave enough to go for it

1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?

I prefer a kite on my FP instead of Skulls. -

Hopefully it will be the "Whole Bloody Affair" maybe with seamless branching between teh two seperate movies. Looks like another deal at Amazon (Buy 2, get 1 free) and the major retailers are all doing cheap prices on select titles (mostly older catalog stuff, of course).
