Saw it on Saturday. Loved it the nods to the TOS and previous films were great. I think this trurned out to be the much needed injection of hope the whole francise needed. It had become so luke warm it was both predictable and average. This wil bring in new fans and the old fans will on the whole be ok eventually. My other half is far from a SCi Fi nut/fan but she loved it. Am I the only one who thought that Kirk's Motorbike was awesome, I would so love a bike that was like that, The motorcyle designers need to push the boat out a bit I think. All modern bikes look similar and are basically upgrades of what came before. The Nokia product placement was cool, How long till we get phones more like that ? 18 months maybe The ship it felt more real insted of the Clinical cleannes of the TOS engine room we got pipes cramped conditions and dirt. Big thumbs up we got space with no sound in it unlike Starwars etc. Roll on the next film.

A great design. There was never enough air time for this vehicle. Great job.

3% will work on a really sunny window ledge but will just take longer, maybe a month or so depending on how much sun you have in your part of the world.

Remember a building can fly if you give it a big enough engine with enough thrust. If you bludgeon your way through the air and gravity the laws of physics, bend a little. The old way of thinking said the Bumble Bee cannot fly, now obviously it can, or at least nobody has told them they cant. So make it light strong and give it a powerful propulsion system and it will fly. How well is then down to computers to help it stay in the air.

That is the main trouble with the U.K. Anyone would think its on the moon not a few miles from the rest of Europe and the world. Where do you get your Mr.Color from. I have just about run out of the Boat load I brought back from my last trip to Tokyo. Unfortunately I cant see me going back soon due to job changes and the economic state of things. Equally though I don't like paying £4.50 for something I pay a £1 or so for in Tokyo.

The Transformers 2 Thread--A Michael Bay thread
big F replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yes if you look at the Empire magazine break down (link a few post up) it says that it is one of the twins and that he grabs onto Devastator's face and does not get sucked in. I am asuming this is eaither some sort of consume all weapon, you know just eat your enemies. Maybe a form of energy production a la Unicron or most likely a way of using the raw materials for construction etc. -
How about fish thats all I have.

There is a lot of activity about this on the web just google it. I think it is more likely it is to do with the film. In the same way as the Sector 7 site was for the first film. Check this link for some info That Empire breakdown on the trailer is awesome roll on June. -
Well in some ways it would help with the worlds population issues. Question is though what would it do for the recession ? Nature is trying to bring us back into balance but our science keeps saving us. Bring on the big asteroid.

Well look on the bright side it sold a few more papers and probably got a few advertisers happy with the extraviewers in the Breaks between the two halves of the news programes. Not too many have died also, bet the media are a bit pissed about that. Bad news sells afterall. Roll on the next media frenzy

The time that a virus can live outside a host is depending on the virus anything from a few seconds to years. I think this link will be of use to all who have asked the above question. Viruses and Microbes

It's great to see someone using Lego as prototyping tool, something which it is so well suited for. How long is it untill someone goes for the supersized Starscream or Ironhide. We all are waiting for that

Exactly. Never understood why they never did this on the original 1/60 and 1/48 anyway. All the Anime footage shows they have them. Oh well Yamato's loss is DyNo's gain. Cast away old chap.

Nice build I really wish they'd done these in a large scale. They are such an awesome design.

The only time this is gonna get out of hand is if there is a sudden increase in cases over a very short time. This would cause the heath services problems with too many people comming in at one time. Despite having enough vacines for flu they'd just not have the man power to get them all administered. If it then got out of hand it could be an issue due to numbers and the inevitable media fueled public panic. This would probably make it worse as people go to hospital etc because they think they may have it, and then actually catch it from someone who realy has. The whole system would cascade and lead to the doomsday scenario that the media would so love to have (for sales) happen. I think we are way of that yet though. More people have probably died this year from Chicken Pox than this flu.

  OMG I am now ever so more hopeful. Constructicons gettin down and dirty sucking up the sand and some poor TF to make stuff or as an unknown weapon type. It looks like Mix master is the head/weapon etc and in G1 didn't he have the ability to make stuff in his mixer Insecticons and what may be more of Starscream and the rest of his Air group. OH!! and did I mention stuff going bang -
Dorks ahoy!! Ermm!!! Guys!!!....You the nerdy whining ones. It's not real. That said they do give ALL Sci Fi a bad name that's why we generally have a bad time with the whole subject.

Fire up the printer Thanks for that. Going to the card shop now Edit: Papercard got and printed. Note for A4 printers it is necessary to use shrink to fit. When Printed it looks great though and no distortions etc. Thanks Brian If I can build the original I may be tempted to up scale it into plastic
