    Totally agree. I don’t like the milking attempt and would be more inclined to buy more if they came with all the option parts instead of making people buy the same color scheme armors multiple times to get the different parts. Maybe, maybe not. I guess we won’t know. For me, I don’t care about color coordinated war machines and it seems like several 1/60’s are on sale but yeah, still expensive compared to the Yamato days when they were being clearanced but then...hard to imagine a 3P back then investing in accessories for Valks that can’t sell at msrp.

    Well they are skipping it from what it looks like. 1/48 wouldn’t be a bad Idea but at this point, I’d rather just see some other stuff. How do? They are still being produced and sold to this day. Either way I’m pretty indifferent to it. I had one ordered and would be happy to have it but I’m not going to miss not having it. Honestly kinda glad and would rather see some other stuff. If they release the dark C&D color scheme for HMR, I might be in to getting those.

    It’s amazing that they couldn’t get a total of 600 orders out of 5 variations. It really goes to show how niche Macross is even though this is a niche within a niche.

    Yeah, this is pretty much how I would deal with the situation if I had an order in. As for the future, this new policy they have of cartjacking their own customers and then relisting for more a minute later is complete BS.

    The MW answer is keep it and don’t hold your breath waiting for a 1/48 and buy more 1/60s to go with it since 1/60 is the standard scale for most high end Valks. Since you mention you are broke, perhaps the right answer is cancel the order.

    Lol, damn right. They just screwed me pretty good for GoLion Reissue. Said it was sold out when I had an order at 26800 and then raised the price to 31000 and now 38000. Lol! This shady shi+ seems to be happening more and more lately. They never did that crap before even though we know they raise the price later. Now, they are cancelling lower priced orders and raising the price. Might as well just sell for the higher price to begin with. F’ers.

    So it sounds like even with a base toy to copy, ET still couldn’t knock it out the park but it does still sound very good. If you go through with the 3D print to put inside the firebird, please share. I was thinking the firebird would be fine to display just by itself.

    That is definitely one of the lamest policies. But again, it wouldn’t apply to me because I would just wait for my stuff to come at the price I paid (loaned) them or get my money back. This will go down as the great 31A mystery that maybe someday will get declassified and we will learn the truth of what went down. Edit: btw, even if you use PayPal, I highly recommend using a credit card through PayPal. That way, if you have a no foreign fee card, you pay less and you are also always protected by the cc company on top of PayPal. I learned the hard way dealing with a company much, much worse than NY.

    I personally wouldn’t mind store credit since I try to shop at NY as much as possible but their policies do suck. If I was really done with a shop like theirs, I would not accept store credit. I would just tell my cc company and they would refund me fully.

    I just went ahead and paid for my VF-4Gs at NY since the exchange rate just jumped up to the best it’s been since Christmas. Might keep getting better but I have a few other orders to pay for in the next couple weeks.

    All good. I think NY did get all their orders with Bandai fulfilled one way or another and there is no way they bought the ones they sent out at original price on the aftermarket for more. There were other sellers stating that there would be a later shipment and those seem to have panned out. Again, this is such a unique case that hasn’t happened before so to base all future orders on this one seems unreasonable to me. The above and beyond part to me is that after so much time, whatever the deal with NY was, they did not need to drag it out and send items to people at original price when it was easily going for 3-4 the price. They could have given refunds like so many people seem to wish they did but I can just imagine the pitchforks from those same people if they got their refunds and then found out they could have received their item if they just waited. I’m not apologizing for NY and like I said, I don’t care about them other then that they deliver the items I order from them. Just giving some perspective on the topic and it’s interesting disscussion to me. No offense to anyone.

    It's all good. If I were in the situation, I would just keep waiting until I get the figure or they tell me they can't deliver. If they can't deliver, they have to give my money back.
