Yeah the one I wanted to have multiples of was regults. It actually started with regults! I was in Japan and I had never heard of HMR but I was looking at this HMR Regult in Yodobashi. I didn't buy one immediately (bad move) since I wanted something bigger. And in my research I stumbled into MacrossWorld...and that's how I found my way to the rabbit hole!

I'd be so disappointed if Mikumo dies. Her singer is the only one I like among the Walkure. Freyja's singer is ok but I wonder if she can have a successful career with her voice. Remember Megumi Nakajima? Where is she now? -

I also used Elmer's Glue but it's just a temporary solution for me. That's why in my previous post the battroid got easily dismembered by the regult haha. When I get more serious about building the other Tomytec kits I'll get some 'proper' glue for the kits. My problem is actually the torso when it separates it's kind of annoying.

Is there a thread for Bandai MB figures? It seems Bandai has this Metal Build, then there's also Robot Damashii. I think there's also SOC but there's a thread for that already. (What's the difference between SOC and DX Chogokin? Me confused.)

So I did a quick check on my Max and looks okay...Will take a closer look this weekend. One thing I realized is it is small. Kinda wish it was a bit bigger but for someone like me who doesn't have the space (I have LOTS of books aside from the boxes of kits), it is quite appropriate. If I had more $$$ I would have gotten two. But as I am not rich, I'll make do with one.

Yeah, I'm never watching anything X-Men again if Fox does it. I got to watch parts of Apocalypse on cable and I was so relieved I didn't watch it in the theatre. It would have been a waste of my money. And I didn't like the focus on Mystique/Jennifer Lawrence on the current reboot.

Got my Max delivered today! But I don't feel like taking him out yet...I would have waited for Milia if only she did not have to come out in March but much earlier.

Do they have concerts planned? It seems weird I feel there hasn't been any news whereas in Frontier there were several concerts.

As far as I can tell, none. The most attention for Delta goes to the VF31J and only for a few pages. The rest are mostly from Frontier and SDF Macross. You'll have to wait for the 4th sortie book five years from now. I have to say the illustrations are really nice, and if I had money to burn I'd buy a 2nd one and cut some out to display on a wall or something. -
When a cannon fodder meets a regult... ...it's not gonna be a happy meet and greet.

And miss the suffering enjoyment in building these damn little things? Anyway, I just ordered new nippers. I was actually using cheap precision cutters bought at a hardware store. I think they worked fine for the battroid (aside from the popping out parts) but for the fighters I don't think they'll do. I'll get Xuron cutters later if the nipper doesn't cut it. Haha

Just paid for the HMR Max and shipping. I can't wait to get my hands on it!

So I finally got to assemble the battroid over the weekend. Sad to say it took me not 30 minutes, but hours lol. Mostly I was being careful in cutting the parts from the sprues and then trimming it. It was my first time with such small parts, it was not so easy and my hands aren't big! Haha. Sometimes when I cut a part it would pop away and minutes are spent looking for that tiny part. I had several instances where I feared either I'd lose the part or I'd accidentally step on it. I probably wouldn't be getting another battroid unless it's a VF-1D. It's not a toy I can play with unfortunately. But I like the fighters for display purposes. Not sure when I can start on the fighter as I can only work on it on weekends. And HMR Max is coming soon anyway, might make me even forget about the Tomytecs for a while.
