I think the anime writers wanted to hint that the Inbits were restoring the Earth to its pre-pollution days. This wasn't brought up again, however. I don't like the atmosphere explanation. A sizable number of transports managed to land -- and got wasted on ground. (The base that Stig was looking forward to reach.) yeah, the writing and "world" of mospeada seems more like g i joe than macross. its alot more inconsistent and leans on "the viewers are kids" angle more than macross does i think. just my opinion, i'm enjoying it none the less .

i watched the first few episodes just the othere day, i don't remember anything about damage.. EVERYONE was saying stuff like "the atmosphere, whats going on?" "this is hotter than it should be" "the inbit did something to the air" some ships were damaged, but EVERYONE suffered from the weird atmosphere... weird since it hasn't come up again (people seem to be breathing normal)

those are VERY pretty boxes. but since i keep all my DVD's on those slotted tower things, i would have no use for them :-( very pretty

you know, the number one thing is soooo misleading. that can be masaged so many ways when it's best in the country, they say "number one movie in america" if its number one for any other reason like best opening on a wednesday, or best opening for a scifi movie, or best opening this year, they still say "movie is number one" it shoudln't matter, if the movie is crap, its crap, even if everyone went to see it. take pearl harbor for example, that should have gotten an emmy for it's trailer. the movie was crap tho, ALL my friends and i went to see it because the trailer was so good. we didn't buy the DVD

totally slipped my mind bro, i'm in the middle of finals for one of the most stressful trimesters i've ever taken. i'll get them posted tonight or tomorrow maybe. it only takes a second, i just have to remember to do it.

i can't beleive you'd go to another resident evil movie just to see a clothed woman run around shooting stuff. have some self respect. I'm not going to put money into the hands of the guys who made this avp jibberish. i'll never pay for another MK movie, or RE. this director sucks. everything i've ever seen of his totally craps on what i like about movies. this guys gotta learn that you can just grab a midi player, crank out some cheap rock music, throw some preds and aliens at power ranger level actors and expect me to buy a ticket. NO. NO MORE! i want the next movie i see in the theater to be .. gasp... good. hollywood... stop making movies that are "based" on something else. i want to see "written by" not "adapted by" or "inspired by"... grrrrr!

i've got mospeada on que in netflix, i'm watching the first disc. it seems a bit more kiddy than macross, not much just a little. i like it so far, i used to have a Legioss (green missing a head) when i was a kid, i broke it and didn't think it was as cool as my jetfire. i also had two ride armors. the bikes fell apart i remember, but i had the guy from the set for a LONG time afterwards. wonder what ever happend to it. i like the show so far, wish it was a little more polished tho. and it is kinda funny that that one girl isn't mentioned for the first couple show's she's in, no one even really seems to talk to her much. they're just like "ew.. a girl."

i have a criteque for it. give it some "personality" from every direction, you want this thing to have a distinct profile when compaired to other sci fi machinery. the top view looks ok but the side view is BOREING. work on it's profile, look at other bombers, (like the b1b) or fighter bombers like the f-14. bring the botom wing foreward, and push the top wing back. lift the nose and cock pit up and give it a tad of a "lifting body" look ( i know it's outerspace, but it LOOKS cool) i'll try to put some sketches or something up tonight. honestly, while not as "cool" looking, you're original design was more memorable.

c'mon guys don't say its based on "the game" there are tons of AvP games, specify wich one. from what i can tell it's not based on any of the games. these are the ones i know of: AvP nes/snes (not sure wich) AvP PC AvP II PC AvP arcade and they were all pretty diffrent.

i kind of agree with what you're saying, though, this is one of those things that was a long time comeing, and had ALOT of potential. it sucks that waiting over ten years we end up with a movie that seems slapped togeather in 6 months with little (if any) research done with the first movies. there is just too much that doesn't make sence in this movie to ignore the issue. as people have pointed out. even less than casual fans have noticed weird mistakes in things that were shown in earlyer movies. (lets just hope they don't do what SOME people are doing these days, and go back to the old movies and edit them to make them fit the new movies >wink wink<)

Traditionally it's red since it's typically worn in celebration of the Chinese New Year. Red = propserity / happiness / luck in Chinese culture. well in that case maybe it is just generic

of course bat man can't touch flash, the cool thing about bat man is that he tends to use his brain when he's in physical contests he can't hope to win. if he can't slow down flash, he finds a way to trick him. His speed will trigger some kind of trap. Or he'll run into some kind of substance that slows him down or chains him to something i don't know, since i don't know all of flashe's stuff, but usually bat man thinks of something. it doesn't ALWAYS work.

k, in the original alien movie.. there are some things to remember. giger only worked on the original alien movie. the original alien didn't have a tail. the "tail" was on the front of the costume in the crotch.. soooooooo..... anyway, another thing to remember is that giger never intended for the aliens to have a queen, the way it works is the egg launches the face hugger, which becomes a chest buster, which becomes a adult, which mutilates people (but doesn't kill) and drags them off to make them into eggs. asexual reproduction, no queen. very weird.

i always thought speedy was cool, it was his lazy, sleepy, good for nothing friends that i thought everyone got offended by. speedy as an individual, is kind of free to be how ever the creators want him to be. the fact he was stealing cheeze had nothing to do with mexican commentary, every mouse in cartoons steals cheese, stealing was hardly unique to him being a mexican mouse. the part of speedy that everyone got uncompfortable about was that ALL the other mice were worthless. implying that except for speedy, the rest of the mexican mice were just a drain on mexican mice society. anyway... as for minmay, considering it's gainax, i say it's a wink wink. granted i don't know much about chinese culture, can that dress be other colors? if i go to china will i see girls in that style dress only in red, or can it be blue and green or what ever? if you ask me, its a nod to minmay but not actually supposed to be "her" if you know what i mean. kinda like that orguss valkyrie in macross. i agree... steriotypes are nothing to be afraid of really. does it irk me that the world sees us as big fat americans? (anyone see the triplets of bellvile? i didn't see anyone throwing a fit of national steriotyping in that one) it irks me a little, but what the hell. i dont really care. who cares if france thinks americans are fat, or if americans think mexicans are lazy, or if japan thinks china wears a paticular kind of dress. i just chalk it up to human nature and get over it.

hey, no one needs to beable to "do better" in order to critisize. I've never built a model in my life but i'm sure i could find flaws in even a professional model. my problem is when people simply state "thats not great" or what ever, it's not useful it's just mean. tell him what you see wrong with it, if you can, give him tips. be CONSTRUCTIVE. if you post a un-backed opinion, expect to get more opinionated replys.
