i guess you dont remember the really REALLY slow times before the big boom a few years ago. i'm not that worried and honestly, i'd like it if ONE of my favorite's from my kid-hood didn't get mangled in a new re-imagiend version now-a-days. Macross kinda reminds me of THE MAXX. A pretty un-well known comic that ended up as a cartoon on MTV. all of a sudden a bunch of people who had NOTHING invested in the storyline were all into it for all the wrong reasons. I'd like to see new stuff. I don't need any remakes or new versions of Macross.

yeah, i'm not for or against m7 but really, how can you judge an entire serise off of 10 min of one show?? imho the first 3 futuramas were pretty weak but its one of my favorite serise. this thread only gets 2.3 grams of respect from me on the grounds that not enough effort was taken by the poster.

is that guy wearing the costume in gerwalk mode? it's pretty obvious he's not wearing it in fighter mode, but if he could somehow walk around in gerwalk that would be pretty impressive.

no problem, they can recast barf with a new actor, and then use computers to replace Candy in the Special Edition SpaceBalls. that way no one will be confused when they watch the original. also, now the hairdryer shoots first.

I wouldn't. I'd be pissed. The book style packaging I have no problem with, in fact the materials are nice and it works very well (unlike the MPC itself). The two main reasons I don't care are that I don't care about toy boxes and the RT box isn't my definition of perfect. Toy boxes ultimately mean nothing to me. If Yamato sold them for $10 cheaper in a brown box, then I'd go for it. I'm not buying a box for any other reason than the pleasure of opening it. The other terrible thing about the RT MPC boxes (IMHO) is the Tommy Yune artwork on the spines. Not only does it not look like the original character designs (different style + photoshop = not even close) but it also ruins the very "antique" look that the packaging was trying to achieve. It's a major style clash and it looks goofy as hell. Honestly, Yamato's best boxes were the original 3 DYRL 1/48's. Simple, black, elegant and easy to open. Can't beat that. yup, i care nothing for packageing other than it protects my item from damage. my low viz 1/48 box is the only one i have ever kept, and i only have it because i'm afraid to transport my 1/48 loose in a box with the rest of my figures. all the other boxes i've ever gotten have wound up in the trash.

actually the 19 going strait up is pretty dern sexy. i'd put it on par with the title pic.

ok i fixed it again. hopefully it works, i think when people download it it uses bandwitdth and puts the file on hold. try saving target.. that might help.. anyway.. hope you guys can see it.

considering how had the japanise bust their asses to make those tiny walking robots (wich don't move at all like real people) and they BARELY work.. i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say... we don't have the technology to make transforming anything. atleast nothing that transforms into something that walks. the rest of your post i agreewith :-) big robots will always be useless. there is just, quite literally, no reason to build on.

i think it's great thta mac+ converted a robotech fan. robotech left quite a mark on me that i'm trying to get rid of with macross. macross is so much better (though... i dont' think i'll ever imagine misa as asian, she looks so white to me) anyway... yay mac+ also, i think agent ONE's body is great. it's just... great.
