You'd need to know how garage molding works and how few castings you can actually take off a mold before its useless and has to be redone. Thats the main reason there are so few done each casting run. The guys and girls making these things aren't making them for the masses, just as a collectible limited edition.

i'll put up a vid after our summer here of what we've been up too... I've wired the house and grounds up with a few tricks and we have a mini mtb track around the grounds and a stream and about 70 lights hidden outside Tamiya Fine Detail Grey Primer spraycan base > Tamiya X-1 gloss black 70/30 thinned > Alclad II Magnesium > Future > Hairspray
-
Belt drive it...
-
which primer?

Slapped together another 2 VF battroids even managing to snap off the arm to shoulder joint on a brownie!! Luckily I have super fine drill bits and a pin vice and wire. All repaired and stronger than before. There is a HUGE explosion behind them and they just keep on walking... well... there will be... eventually... when I finish the refinery diorama

Hey at least you didnt spray a canopy in a yellow/gold/future mix hoping to get a reflective finish thats still transparent, realize it wasnt working as intended and then drop that canopy into some clear acetone only to comeback 10mins later to a yellow bottle of acetone and no evidence of a canopy any more... Be happy you still have something solid to patch up and putty, even if it IS a lumpy pile of slag.

if you email him he may tell you who bought them. They are sold And your question on his thread about him selling them to a toy manufacturer... the point of his work IS to make them unique, limited run (20 to 30 usually) and collectible so they will always be expensive, classy and beyond the quality of any mass produced version.
-
ahhhh...I was pointing you to the thread that would show WHO DID buy the molds...

already working on that. Buildings will light up as the room gets dark, neon roof top signs, Phone LCD screens for Jumbotron advertising, Air traffic hazard lights on the skyscraper roofs flashing, traffic lights, street lights, fires etc... will have sounds too going for an average of 10 stories up to 20 in the centre for the buildings. thinking the Arduino Uno r3.

Yep, have 4 pods, 2 light missle pods, A heavy missile pod, 2 glaugs (one toasting in a pool of burning fuel) and 2 Queadluuns to go for the Zentradi forces, then its on to the city and the refinery itself

11PM...just the decals left to do, then its on to the N Scale bus this Regult just stepped on. Tomorrows mission. Not to bad a result for a 1/100 scale 80s' vintage kit.

Roids one that he mind controlled and fought Keith with was a CF model
-
safe! Thought the VF4 was toast in that last frame! time for the Mk1 Eyeball sight
-
Not happy with the wearing on the feet yet but close to Future sealing then decals then dirt and oil time and done.
-
AHH OK, So at that point all those images where false contacts and it was still 1v1?

so... what was the Ping and the sound jammer? Was that the sea of VF-17Ds showing up?

Jumping from project to project at the moment, between MTB and Motox Training... this weekend is fitting the massive very green glass splashbacks in the kitchen, designing and building an intergrated aquarium and hidden sump that fits in the kitchen cabinets, sorting my Macross wallpaper for my PC room walls and slapping together a 1/100 Regult for the Tomytec City fight diorama Neopixel gun or another led?

if you hunt through the forsale section you'll come across all the threads selling the master molds and last kits. Some are still being made by others, like the ES11B Catseye that Neptune studios now casts for sale through StarshipModeller.com http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=44048#entry1297140 http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=43605#entry1265766

Might try the UNO and see how much more fun it is.

Macross Δ (Delta) Mecha/Technology Thread - READ 1st POST
NZEOD replied to azrael's topic in Movies and TV Series
Shoji likes his design work and making things that COULD be real so he WOULD go into insane detail on things that you may see only fleetingly. -
He doesnt sculpt or cast models any more. All macross Master molds were sold earlier this year as he shut down all the modelling side of his business, he's now a master watch craftsman. Any Moscato kits already out there are the only ones that will ever be.

For searching Japanese auctions sites, these characters have worked for me so far.

I thought they had 17s in frontier as CF

Ok seeing as a few are thinking along the same lines and myself with doing dioramas using the new Tomytec GiMIX series this thread will be a dump bin for any info etc we all come across to assist us all. This will includes City layouts, Carrier Deck scenes, Runway and Airfield stuff and what ever else we all find. Also included will be the Japanese characters I use to search for items on Yahoo Auctions JP and other sites. I'll start The Tomytec VF-1 Battroid stands 90mm tall in 1/144 scale. The ARII 1/144 Nousjarduel and Queadlunn are both about 115mm tall so on its own it looks fine up against VFs BUT with other Zentreadi forces its on the small side. The ARII 1/100 Regults (standard, Scout and Missile Pods) are about 150mm tall to the top of the Pod, not the radar or missiles. The AR11 1/100 Glaug, I have still to assemble. I'll update when I do. N-Scale is the Train scale that fits with all this. Modern Era Building and Scenery Makers include: Tomix/Tomytec Faller Kato USA various Chinese building makers Vehicle makers include: Aoshima Some links http://www.osbornsmodels.com/buildings-accessories--landscapes-20-c.asp http://www.nscalesupply.com/catalogmain.html A seriously cool city build Blogger http://quinntopia.blogspot.co.nz/p/v2-gallery.html https://www.youtube.com/user/mesmerojoe We can all do this too! Minus the trains at least... or maybe a derailed train being stepped on by a Glaug...
