The ceiling lights are a single 0406 LED embedded in a bead of UV cure resin. Easiest method ever for doing lights! I totally recommend you have a UV resin pen in your tool box. Brilliant item http://www.evine.com/Product/463-815

Still needs the roof and outer blastproof doors and offices fitted once the wiring is finished and hidden. Adding a grain of sand sized blue 0406 LED into one of the figures hands to simulate a flickering welder

1/144 is growing on me due to the abundance of German and Asian N scale rail kits we can repurpose. The wargamersand Gundam modellers use this scale as well so no shortage of items. And you can make scenes that fit in the house better or can even be wall mounted vertically like a picture.... which I'm doing with the Destroid Iraq invasion scenes. 4 seperate display cases wall mounted the span the story lined up next to each other.

Some more progress on the 1/144 GiMix Macross Airshow display Discovered that the GiMix macros decals that come with the VFs actually have a carrier film over the top of them that you need to remove after the decals are stuck down. Masking tape takes it off without damaging the decals.

Yeah I have a stack of X-wing repaints and we are playing X-wing when we have the time so ours are parked for now.

Nope, size 10 MX gloves and the other unscarred hand was the other halfs. They are tiny models! Working on a 1/144 Hawkeye with modded folded wings and the 8 blade props to go on the deck in Macross colours. The catch is it will have nav lights and motor driven spinning props.
