It comes with a 1/1 core drill... and it has metal... and it looks great... but Bandai could chuck out one with transforming and gatai action for that price IMO. It's a bit stiff too in my opinion for something so big and with no tranforming gimmicks. Love the series but I might cancel the preorder if I don't see anything that justifies the high price or something soon. I'm in a state of lust-unlust for it

Thanks for all the pics! The Tread... with all the missile bays open... is the definition of AWESOME. I want now!! The Legios does loose a bit in fighter mode (guess the close together arms is a necessity for the Tread link up) but soldier more than makes up for it in my book. Can't wait to see them painted. I'm sure that when colour brings out all the panel lines and rivets SaveRobotech talked about they will look even better. Wonder if all the mini figures will come in one colour or if they'll represent the whole gang... there are four of each after all (solo, armoured and riding the cyclone) + plus the pilots.

Great news on the YF-21 front... it'll be hard to resist now. This could also mean fast packs for the VF-11 in the first release too. Yamato really caught on that we wanted more when we got pissed at the naked YF-19 . Now we get stands and fast packs included (SV-51 and now the YF-21) ... now we need lower prices. This marks a dark turn for the profecy: 2 consecutive M+ releases when there's still the much easier to make VF-0D *cries*

Hey Mowe, could the movie SPEC Eva 00 be posed with it's arms crossed (and the arched back) like the Fewture Getter 2 can? Could you take a pic? I've got this crazy idea to kitbashh the 00 into a Getter but I'd like to see if it could look good.

I can stand all that, what I can't are those huge tighs and lower legs all the M7 valks have I like the M7 designs but the Kawamori chunky leg fetish of the 90's doesn't blow my wistle. Now a mecha I dislike?... the VA-3. It looks like a Transformers G1 toy (although in Dynamite it didn't look that bad).

Yep. In those pics you can see the Megahouse Rei with Mint next to the Invid. Personally I liked CM's Tread proto better than the Toynami. Hope CM only changes the big nose, fitting and boobs on the Legios and doesn't touch the Tread unless they come up with a better linking between the two. If Toynami hadn’t taken so loooong to go ahead with the Beta, I would have probably bought one since I always wanted one. Now their offering just seems kinda boring compared to the dynamic looking CM .

Looking good BTW, is it normal for a Japanese company to advertize a product that won't be out for another 4-5 months? Yamato is also promoting the YF-19 and the M Zero line with this comercial but it's still a lot of screen time for a proto... could it be that the YF-21 is going to be released sooner?

That grey sure looks good on the SV-51.

I like the more mature looking head sculpt on the Toynami MP but by the time they chuck anything out, even Beagle could have already sold their yet to be seen take on the cyclone. Add to that their QC track record (and the latest Aoshima flop is not making things better) and you get very little, if any expectation.
