Easiest way I found to SS Kamjin's trap is to (after finishing the crates, and while you do, take out those regults that pop up before the last crate), kill Kamjin as quickly as possible. The method that works best for this, is to use the last supper skill (STEAK-Y) Right when the enemy warning pops up, you should have 2 full SP bars, unleash, and head to the area where Kamjin usually appears (somewhere northeast of the Macross's bow). It's a strong enough attack that you should be able to take him out no prob, but just to be sure, keep trying to lock onto him (target + up on the crosspad), and melee or shoot him while the barrier explosion is wittling him down. Between the combo bonus (from the barrier explosion attack), and the quick kill of Kamjin (a must on this level), you should be S/SS. Take on the remaining Regult's after, they're incidental to the mission grade. As for get set, while quickness & melee are important, so is "not killing the large Vajra" until nothing else is left on screen. The longer the large Vajra are around, the more small Vajra will appear. keep an eye on your targetting while melee attacking, if you see yourself headed for a large Vajra, target + down to switch to a smaller one.

Well, to put it even more simply, owning the trademark to the name, and using the intellectual property that Big West has been proven to own are two entirely different things. What HG seems to believe is a Mexican standoff, is little moret han a failed attempt at blackmail. -HG:"We own the trademark to the name Macross, so we're going to stop you from releasing anything in the U.S." -BW: "Oh yeah? Well just try using that name, or anything else belonging to Macross, and we'll bury you so deep that Jules Verne couldn't find you!"

I think of it more along the lines of Asahina agreeing with "our" known science of how the universe exists, and how everything has evolved. As opposed to Koizumi taking a more religious view of "then there was Haruhi, and she created the world, there was nothing before her, she is all." I also doubt Haruhi is Mikuru's superior, that would imply that Haruhi's faction is indeed the "correct" one, as well as their agenda overriding that of Kyon's free will in the matter. Not to mention that would by default make Koizumi part of the same faction, since his faction worships Haruhi directly, there'd be no reason for them to go against her own (future) wishes. I say Mikuru's superior is either Tsuruya san, or olderr Mikuru.

Both versions on one disc? Hell no! "Maybe" the whole OVA on one disc, but I'd say still put it on 2, and then the movie on a 3rd disc.

Going by the Shadow Chronicles bluray, and the complete and total lack of mention of so much of a hint of the word "Macross," in the special features, I'd wager that no, HG can not use the name "Macross" in new robotech productions. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Big West actually did launch some sort of legal action, or at the very least a cease and desist at HG after the whole Tatsunoko thing was resolved. While merch is obviously outside of that, HG's obvious fear of approaching anthing "Macross" on a video format tells an interesting tale.

Believe me, it's vastly superior to the old Rightstuf release, which was essentially composite VHS master thrown on DVD.

I took from Asahina's explanation that the world was always like that to mean the world always existed as it was without Haruhi, Koizumi limits existence somewhat to the current iteration of the world coming about 3 years prior at Haruhi's whim, meaning it could be interpreted that all human/univerasl history is also a creation of Haruhi. Asahina takes a more general stance of the world existing without her, but she's definately a force that can divert the currents of it. I'd wager Yuki's interpretation is more in line with Asahina's than Koizumi's.

Well..is the UMD region locked? Is it infinate awesome (the game). Are all those points because of your Ace Frontier Save? Is it smooth like butter? How does teh custom song thing work? I am so jealous at you! Also, did that frontier PSP theme come with the game? Or is that something custom you made/downloaded? I see the new characters have a name entry option still, but weren't they supposed to have their own names this time around? What kinda stats carried over from Ace Frontier? Mecha tune points? Character pilot levels/skills?

The screen on the 3000 is worth it, and so far, no trouble with the 6.0 firmware myself, don't know what anyone elses problem is. But damn, that tank battle is crazy, I can't wait for the explanation on the super troops there.

I usually had the best luck going after Luca, then Alto, then Michel, stick with missile volley's, an dkeep moving. The trick to getting S/SS, is to take out all 3 before the Vajra show up (I think you have 2 minutes). If you don't, the upside is whoever's left will help you take on the Vajra, but you get a much smaller bonus. Also, once you do get to the Vajra, there's only one tough large Vajra to worry about, though there are a couple misleading weak ones.
