Well, mid May is now....and still no news whatsoever from NY. Some 'real' infos would be welcomed at that stage. Especially regarding that mysterious 'extra stock'. Aside from one Japanese tweet, we have absolutely no clue that Bandai is actually in the process of producing more. Where did they officially announced anything regarding more stocks? Last time I checked, in Japan, it seemed that most customers who had ordered theirs from TWE got them (dupes and all). Trying hard to stay positive, but everything is hearsay. We're now close to 2 months since NY's official release date, and they've still not finished shipping off the orders from the 6th October. Aside from a few orders from the 10th that were shipped, (like 2) Couldn't be bothered to find the page where a MW said his wife had called up NY. And they told him it would be shipped in May. Did that person ended up receiving it? This month, NY haven't been shipping more than 1 a week, (and one dupe order). That's it. April, rumours were going around for a May release, and now, it's June? Wish I could share people's optimism, but the situation doesn't look any different than it was in March. Did I somehow miss something?

Every week, it's the same thing. 1 shipped, and that's it. At this stage, I truly doubt I they'll deliver before August... at all. Especially considering its current value, why send this invisible stock if they can sell it for X5 times its price ......Gutted.

Erm...Anyone got any news regarding their orders? Any movement in the order status? Anything? It's been quite a while since anyone reported anything (aside from that dupe order that got the staff who sent it relegated to toilet duties) Getting tired of this lack of news, seriously considering getting in touch with NY's owner directly for an explanation and other stuff....

Again, I wonder if it'll be worth going directly to the boss of the company for a 'proper' answer. Their attitude toward this issue stank from day 1. Loved it when people were saying that NY were the only ones who hadn't refund or cancelled their orders . Do you truly think they knew anything back then regarding the upcoming issues, stocks in May and all that BS? Of course they didn't, but thought they'd give it a try, go with the flow. They never had a clue if they were going to be able to fulfill those orders and still don't. Their lack of communication and customer service regarding this particular issue has been unacceptable, too many of us are literally 'scared' that they'll cancel our orders or worse close our account if we keep mailing them. Outcome: everybody just waits in silence. Not only they most likely won't deliver, they won't refund in cash and managed staying clear of head aches with customers messaging them every day (erm , messaging him, you know, the guy who lives in the broom closet, Fabrice).Win-Win for them. As far as loosing a few angry customers, they couldn't care less. Won't affect their business one bit. I mean their overall web score is abysmal, yet, they still make money. Heck, I should talk, I preordered a YF-19 from them (not mentioning all the other upcoming Po I also have). So...boycotting them? Yeah, right.... Whatever, just a quick rant.

Erm....there's no timing, nor anything suspicious.It's the exact message they've been sending all along to everyone. I received the exact same one in March. Never once had they mentioned anything in mail regarding any May stock. This was from one member who called them. It's still the exact same situation, they're not pushing refunds on anyone, they're just being..erm, NY... At that stage, they understand most people won't cancel. So either they are making it drag and being vague on purpose so that more customers cancel, but I assume people who wanted to cancel would've done it by now.Lately, we can see they don't have anything, (aside from that dupe order, that once again was most probably a fluke and the staff who sent them probably got relegated to cleaning up the warehouse floor for the next 6 months and his salary cut...). At this stage I don't think it'll happen, this 'extra stock' is a rumour at best. We don't know why Bandai are producing more (nor wether it truly came from them as there is no official announcement as far as I know). And if they truly are, it would probably be replacement stocks for faulty units and/or maybe for a limited customers in Japan that are still waiting, so most likely a tiny amount. Does it seem logic that stores would out of the blue get tons of stock? Yeah right.... Again...just my opinion. I'm still waiting, but without any expectations. At that stage, it's months late, not weeks, and still no sign that anything is going to change.(aside from those 'odd' orders that they send out now and again). Who knows, maybe in October? It'll only be a year.....

Erm....we kinda hope so, but considering the depth of this mess, can't expect to see changes on that order status anytime soon.Bandai must've really messed up big time on that one, trying to pretend everything was peachy...(not forgetting NY with their stellar replies regarding the issue). Monday's already gone and not a single order shipped as far as we know..At that rate, and if mid-May stocks are delayed yet again, it'll take a year to get those cursed preorders .

I wonder, if there truly are some upcoming stocks if this'll affect its current (ridiculous) price. Bound to have some impact when potential buyers see them appearing slightly cheaper here and there realising more stocks are floating about'. Not sure if this is a VF that'll hold its value in the long run somehow. Anyway, still waiting for this f'ing order. If they willing to send dupe when they can't even send off the singles,it's bound to be a good sign? Right? (or could be that they are truly just a bunch of morons after-all, one of the two...). They better not mess up that YF-19 preorder, otherwise it's gonna hit the fan.... As for Eslim 109 receiving one in a damaged box....Unfortunately, it's not NY's pb if it's damaged. They'll tell you to contact the Post office that's it. (especially considering it's a piece they don't even have in stock to afford sending any replacement ....) You could always send it back 'by force' and hope for a refund, (won't work). To save you the hassle, I'll get if off you , preorder price of course, with a big discount for the dent in the box....deal?

Wow! Congrats! Not many dupes have been sent by NY. Still wishing they would hurry it up a bit, that 1 parcel a week is getting really tedious..... Absolutely no movements on my order.....Starting to loose hope. Maybe next July? August? Who knows at that stage?

*Sniff*.....Still nothing..... Another day without any updates regarding the Kairos. It definitely won't be for this month, and with the upcoming Golden Week, early May isn't looking too promising either. Still hoping they'll eventually come through with those orders somehow....I'm not complaining, promise, not sad or anything, (well a bit...but nothing compared to the first few weeks of April ). Can't believe they (NY) nearly messed up the DX YF-19 preorders...Took their sweet time listing all those St Seiya and other stuff, when most retailers had already opened (and closed) for that DX . When it finally appeared (if you could open the site long enough), there was a question mark instead of the pic and it was coming up with 'error 1 sold out' or something. Completely buggy. A little while later, the pic was up and it was in stock (for roughly 2 minutes, if that) then 'sold out' msg . If your internet connection crashed or whatever, not a chance! . Still, it was the cheapest out there.

I have more than enough YF-19s.....yet....felt the need to get this one mostly for its accessories . Wish there were more differences between this one and the Advanced. There's still time to rectify the inverted black/red situation, landing gears and more. This DX YF-19 was most likely a way to recup on the Frontier mold. (maybe all isn't lost for another Chronos variant! Been waiting a long time for that announcement... I truly love the Chronos.) As for a DX YF-21, would be great, but not sure it'll be something Bandai would invest in. Arcadia will most likely get there first. Meanwhile, will have to make do with the old 1/60 Yammy, mine's still holding up and displaying great after all those years.

Just as the YF-19 preorder race finished, postman just delivered that Cyclone and other stuff I was expecting. Wasn't planning on keeping it, but I'm curious and tempted to take a look at the thing. Certainly no transforming, nor taking out of the box, just a look. Even though the pics look o.k, the reviews were really a mixed bag considering the price. I have a fair amount of Cyclones in my collection, and not particularly desperate to add yet another 'so-so' version if I can sell it off and get my money back, and more. Shouldn't have preordered it in the first place, but it's too late for that now, long story mixed up with that Kairos preorder that I have yet to receive) Has anyone bought a used one yet? Can't find any 'used' specimens to get an idea how/if it'll affect its resale value. If I loose $80 or more just for having opened up that seal, it'll be an expensive glimpse

I assumed you checked your spam and such? My order crashed as I was on the payment page. Couldn't F5, nothing, when the site was next up, it was sold out...funny I didn't pull out a hammer on my PC, first thought "whatever...have enough YF-19s as it is anyway". A sign it wasn't really a necessary purchase for me....But in typical fashion, when you don't care...I got the confirmation mail etc. I mean if it's in your order history, no reason why it wouldn't have gone through. You have an order number etc, so it's been ordered.

Still find it crazy to go through this torture every time. Not only NY were late with the listing, and seems they only had a tiny allocated amount?

I'm 45. No white hair....aside from my beard that's complexly white , maybe I stress too much . Anyway, will keep the 'try not to be miserable' in mind. Just that lately, between this Kairos mess, and *meh* Cyclone...not that great. Yep....Been using that one since forever...changed it though, so hopefully it should be readable now.

My bad, not sure what happened, I think for that part that's in black, I wrote it, then cut/pasted back and once posted the comment, it was in black, maybe I hi-lighted that sentence by error ....Anyways, no order status changes on my side. They've shipped the Cyclone as well as some other stuff. But not 'that'. After combining some orders and before they had yet to be shipped. I mailed them asking if they could send everything, including the Kairos I still hadn't received in one parcel. They only replied that they couldn't combine those orders (rather than giving an explanation or apology as to why they hadn't shipped this particular order 1 month after their stated release date). Only a short cut and paste bla-bla regarding their store policies concerning the combining of orders and preorders. Very helpful.

@Slave IV You're completely right, I complain a lot regarding this whole mess. It's not exactly my favourite pass-time either. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, if you feel that it's perfectly fine to have paid for something more than 6 months ago and getting the runaround from a so-called business, with not a single word about the situation. Great. (I'm not counting those messages as we had to chase after them in order to get replies. As for the replies, if you're satisfied with their explanation, I'm not.) You give them your hard earned cash every month for stuff, the least you should expect as a customer (long-time or not) is a minimum of respect, and a detailed explanation when something goes wrong. Not everyone expects the same level of services, I get that. Would knowing the cause regarding this 'wait' change anything?, probably not. But at least you'd know why you're waiting like a pr**k. And most importantly, what are the chances of ever getting those orders? I'd rather know, even they came up with 'Sorry,but we won't be able to fulfill all orders placed after the 7th as we (or Bandai ) messed up". (Or whatever their excuse is). It's this lack of transparency that made me furious in the first place. I wouldn't be here talking about it had they come clean from the get go. How many months are we supposed to wait? Can they at least tell us that? Maybe then it would help decide whether to give up on this thing rather than hoping every day to see a change in your order status. (can't even call it an an order as it's now turned into a fossil ) Again you've got your principles, I have mine. If you feel waiting for more than a month now to get any sign of life from them is warranted, we just aren't on the same page, when it comes to customer services.

Totally agree with this. Not just Bandai though, today, a lot of collectors just get their fix from waiting on new releases. Once it's out : "O.k, yes, it's great, but when is the next one coming out?". This hobby has really changed a lot, sure, we now have tons of same scale VF's (unlike the time when the 1/55 Chunky HCM, and resin kits ruled ...), but feels we lost something along the way with the constant releases, re-releases, re-re-releases. (Not to mention this preordering BS we have to deal with getting worse and worse.)

Like those two and a half months of 31A preorders that have yet to be shipped. Good things come to those who wait. Right! What a load of bull. Not to mention that Cyclone which (as expected) seems far from 'the ultimate rendition' most people expected. Was I wrong to be pessimistic about this release? Guess not, glad I didn't have high hopes for it. You'd think in 2018 they'd finally produce a decent rendition without stuff falling off everywhere and the need to customise it, glue stuff here, cut and trim bits there etc.... Yet, again, some people seem to think it's worth $300 and more ?? Probably caught whatever disease that Kairos had. What's wrong with this hobby lately? There are more scalpers than actual collectors . Still looking to get rid of mine (on its way via EMS ), ideally a swap for that last Maize release . Why not ?....seems more than fair by today's f'd up standards. Odd that Toynami hasn't tried to strike some deal with Sentinel for local distribution....like in the Beagle days (maybe they tried, no ideas as I don't follow any of their stuff). But not many big companies want to to get involved with them, (as the probably ask for 80% of any revenue ). Beagle was tiny, Sentinel probably don't need Toynami's charity to survive.. Rambling to myself. My bad, but as this Kairos thread has mostly strayed off-course, might as well talk about whatever until (if) the rest of us (ever) receive their orders...(too late, jinxed it now )

I knew I shouldn't have paid for this preorder, but somehow felt 'blackmailed' into it ( still waiting for that cursed Kairos from Ny and didn't want to give them any excuses for closing up my account or whatever for not having payed for this particular one) I hardly ever watch reviews until I get the products in my hands. On this occasion even though I'm only a few days away from receiving my order, I really wanted to see if all my assumptions were justified, and to decide wether to open it or leave it sealed and get rid of it right away. (before the hype dies down at least) Hate to see yet another unjustified expensive piece,( but not exactly surprised, the fact it had been pushed back several times wasn't exactly reassuring). Had it been around $125, maybe, but that retail price was a bit OTT. Certainly wasn't expecting a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination. But considering some of the people involved in the project, and high expectations, hoped that it would've at least not suffered from the same kind of issues of previous attempts. Still, If any of you own different Sentinel pieces, not hard to figure out the chances of getting a 'meh' release was more than a 50/50 deal. Wishing it could've been the 'ultimate' Cyclone rather than an overpriced fan-service piece of ''not bad, but..." All the modern Cyclone renditions I own, from CMS, to Megahouse, Beagle etc...had major issues (well, major to me). The only one that I've always been happy with is my old Japanese DX Gakken . Grew up with that one, so of course I'm slightly biased. Anyway, happy for those willing to look past the negatives. Generally I really don't mind having to customise a newly acquired piece in order to fix some issues. But on this occasion, it'll more than likely end up on that 'for sale' pile of stuff that needs sorting out. Maybe the funds will go towards that funky MAIZE Voltes V for example. Anyone willing to swap?

Here's a store voucher minus ¥15000 for p'ing us with all those emails and phone call this past month. Thanks for your custom" Everyday, same BS, if they have 800 orders to fulfill from the 6th-7th and have only sent about 30 or whatever. Not sure where the 'good sign' is if they've sent 2/3 a day this past month... (if that), It's now exactly a month since their release date. As for that May shipment...maybe it was for the person who called.....maybe they just gave you an approximation of when you could expect to receive your order, as not a single message have ever mentioned May or any date whatsoever.
