Highly unlikely.....Don't think they're the kind of retailer who would bend backwards going as far as buying any pieces from YHJp or whatever to make up for their mistake (leaving the Po window opened way too long to begin with....)

Erm, first major defect: the theme is too 'stealthy'. Can't see it at all..... Sucks that 3 weeks in, we still haven't moved further than the 6th/7th October orders. Wonder how long it'll take to get to the ones placed after those first few October days. Looks bleak for late October/November or December orders. (;_;)... Pretty sure most of us wouldn't care so much if there was any hint of certainty that all POs would be honored one way or the other. Not much that can be done at that stage but wait and see, but It's just hard to imagine that NY are waiting for a massive shipment of 31-As though. And congrats to Derex!

Aside from it's 'grittier' theme, I mostly wanted the Kairos to display with my YF-30. Incidentally I had also preordered the Chronos from NY when it came out without any issues. Sure, it wasn't an exclusive,( but an amazing piece nonetheless. And really different to all other Frontier Valks that had been released until then.) I guess it was more of an obscure valk, and it took a while before your average collector started to realise how 'cool' the YF-30 truly was was. Took at at least 4/6 months for the prices to climb up. Was also clinging to that, but as the weeks go by, I'm starting to loose hope... . Third week now since this situation started. At least, in the beginning, some people were getting shipping notifications, as well as a few pieces delivered here and there, but now....nothing.....By staying 'vaguely' optimistic, NY aren't getting swamped by refund requests, that's a plus for them I guess. Who knows? At this stage, it could be any number of things. *Sigh*.

Erm......Have they closed up your account yet? As for the proxy theories, unlikely that they would loose all their future commissions with NY to make a profit on a few DX's. Again, just my opinion. And if NY truly use their staff addresses for TWE, still doesn't explain why this time, out of the blue they didn't send them? (But sent all other Gundams and whatnot TWE releases?) At this stage, it could be anything. Maybe NY's boss got kidnapped by the local Yakuzas for not refunding that last loan on time....And incidentally, they sent his fingers (or his d**k) back to the NY offices in a DX Kairos box. ( they most probably took it from that young otaku recruit's broom closet). So they're scared to send off any Kairos(es)..What's the plural of Kairos (0_o) ? Obviously sarcastic stupidities from my part.

F'ing freaking faaak! Another F'ing week starting EXACTLY like the past 2. Had sent NY another mail before the week-end to decide whether to ask demand a refund. The reply, same BS albeit worded differently: Hello, Thank you for contacting us, We don't have an expected timeline for the delivery yet. We will inform you when we'll ship your order. We apologize for the inconvenience. Kind regards, Nippon-yasan.com Emphasis on myself here, don't want people saying "speculations , blabla blabla " and other BS, just MY opinion,right?!. Anyway, looks they're just stalling whilst figuring out how they're going to refund (those store credit are still going to leave a dent in their monthly outgoings.) I have like 4 POs with NY to pay this month. Not paying anything until I get some resolution (not even that next upcoming F'ing bland looking HMR, only went for it for completion's sake ,couldn't care less about it.) At leat it made me realise, half of the Macross stuff I get, are only for completion's sake! (Note to self "get a Kairos Keyring/Gashapon/Sticker")

So tired of stressing out and at that stage and SOOO tempted getting rid of my PO completely... Also, it's not the first report of QC issues. Wonder, if TWE had to 'sacrifice' a lot of stocks for local/Jp orders replacements? I know they do produce extras to allow for that kinda stuff, but maybe it was worse than expected? .

Contacted them yesterday to see if it'd be possible to add France to the list of countries, ( won't be back in the U.K for a while and not going to book a flight just to pick up a parcel! ) Was really surprised they had the UK as the Macross 'scene' ther is even tinier than it is in France. Rambling aside, they've accepted. Just placed my orders before they all get snatched! ... So for anyone interested it's now possible to ship to French addresses.

Watched about 11 ,with long breaks between episodes, found it really hard to get into. Didn't particularly like any of the characters, the 'idol' parts were kinda 'meh' 1 or 2 catchy tunes, but too obvious that they were purposely trying to have such a big group with tons of outfits , you know...for Banpresto to sell their stuff......tried but, nope....Maybe should give it another go. I hated Frontier the 1st time around, and on my 2nd viewing found it enjoyable ...

Was browsing and found that some places stated that the VF-31 A Japanese release date was on the 15th March and that they started shipping them from the 16th?? Did they have another date for Bandai Asia? I though it was the 24th? ...did I miss something?

Sorry, it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, was just reflecting upon the dupe orders situation. I mean.....I could've ordered 2 myself ....Did not mean to offend anyone. More like thinking out-loud...I finished on a 'positive' note, wishing everyone ends up getting what they paid for...

Unlikely that they're going to be able to honor any dupes at this point considering the shortages. They'll most likely send all singles first then see if they have enough for multiples. Or refund the dupes and send 1 order? I might be completely wrong but they're having enough difficulties to send single orders, not sure how they can justify sending 3 or more for a single order when they don't have enough for singles? Only speculation from my part of course, I haven't hot a clue.... Hope everyone will eventually get whatever they paid for. But.....if this week is anything to go by, not sure if next week will fare any better. (I'm such an optimist right? )

Yeah, same, 10th October too....But at the rate they are being trickled out, if it's an average of, let's say 10 a week (I'm adding some speculative numbers of peeps who aren't on forums but might have received theirs). It'll take way longer than next week to reach the preorders placed on the 10th, not to mention ones placed in November ?? Up until now, from what we can gather, it was mostly some of the PO placed on 6th and 7th that were sent. (Emphasis on 'some') Pretty sure there are more from the 6th/7th that have yet to be sent out. (;_;)

Anyways, another week and still nothing. NY are now closed until Monday. Last week I thought "Maybe they'll receive some stock with their Monday morning "deliveries"...then Tuesd and so on.....If they are doing it at the rate of a few a week, I just can't see it happening (unless they are waiting for some stocks they are sure to receive, but that's 'speculative dreaming' from my part....don't think it'll happen). I really wanted to stop checking this thread. I said "case closed" yesterday when that letter from NinNin was posted (aren't NN Also French own Btw? Lol ) ...yet I'm still here like an idiot. Aside from getting me stressed-out and even more p'd off, it's not exactly conducive.

Personally ordered it on the 10th....4 days of PO to go YAY....4 days of orders at the rate they're going, not sure it'll ever happen....

At least it shows what I had suspected from the start, they are sending the 1 (or 2) a day they receive-acquire in chronological order. Which makes complete sense. No reason for an order placed 29th October to be shipped before one placed on the 6th....The have order numbers for a reason. But if we are still on the 6th October, at that rate it'll never reach past mid October if that......

Still find it odd that NY didn't manage to source enough to at least to cover the first month of preorders. How many did they get, like 6? Or was the case of hoarders buying 10 at a time. ( some still don't seem happy they didn't manage get more than 3 or 4 *sigh*.) I wanted one....not 2 not a squadron. Pretty odd NY are still stalling the info, asking for a refund if I don't hear from them by by tomorrow. If they knew all along WTF were they doing? Waiting for what? A shipment from the heavens? Whatever. Case closed.

Wonder if Slave IV is still keen to buy off a NY preorder knowing the extremely high likelihood that they will most probably not deliver..... They better make up for it with some re-runs or whatever. How incompetent can their marketing/distribution team really be??. Until they do, a big FU to Bandai. . As for Eb scalpers they can shove theirs you know where.

I once contacted Bandai US (or U.K...I forgot) regarding a replacement part for my DX Great Mazinger SOC (the big one with opening armors etc....). It had just been released, so it's not like if it was an old obscure toy....As expected, they told me, it's not a product that is supported by their services and that if I bought it from a reseller to contact them about their warranty, nothing to do with Bandai... Obviously they don't have the same policies, safety laws etc for products that aren't distributed outside Asia, kinda hoped they could've helped me out somehow...Yeah right....in my dreams.... So contacting Bandai Japan, you'd most likely get the exact same reply....

Kinda hard considering how much those companies charge for their products nowadays. If I was loaded with money and could afford to get triples of everything I don't think I'd care one bit, nor would I make a huge deal about it. I'd just pay $500 or whatever it's current value and problem solved. Unfortunately that's not my case....I'm already finding hard enough being able to afford those ridiculous prices as it is, don't need the additional stress not knowing when or if I'll even get what I've paid for.

Thing is with a company like Bandai the internal structure is far from straightforward. They have hundreds of teams working on different projects all at once, thousands of different franchises. It's not just the Macross line that is affected. Having to budget and time everything so that all other releases can also keep up their dates must be insane. If you look at the amount of releases they have every month from different lines across the board, there's bound to be hiccups. Come on Bandai, an NY, FFS just burp us out that Kairos!!

Must admit, it was tempting, but I'd end up banging my head on a wall if NY do come through with the order....Plus it looks so sweet...and 'realistically' themed DXs ( is that even a sentence) are few and far between to give that one a miss....
