Maybe they were just about to do their big reveal and then saw the Riobot Ride Armor and were like "Screw it, we can't compete with that announcement... we'll wait to the next show." Kidding of course... but I am checking the site constantly for an update

Customer service is closed on weekends so emailing now won't be fruitful for a few days. Someone did get a response though telling them not to worry it will ship... eventually.

I'm going to argue this isn't a toy so I don't need it. If Bandai does the 1/35 for the 35th anniversary it won't top 35,000 yen. The vf1 is relatively simple, depending on bells and whistles I could imagine it being less.

In a week the NY website will disappear from the Internet entirely... Okay, I really hope they're not having solvency issues but their inability to ship is getting very suspect. Maybe the flu is going around their warehouse.

It's too bad. I was considering making them my primary outlet since they tend to be cheaper than HLJ and offer rewards but I'll definitely keep them a back-up until they get this sorted out.

T-rex is just a designer, his involvement doesn't give any sort of clue does it? I think he's just named dropped because he's done some good designs in the past.

The assembly version of the reactive armor kit is such a strange decision. I can see it with the VF-1 GBP where there are so many different VF-1 variants. With the Zero line we just have 2 variants (as of now, maybe a CF later) and both variants work great with the existing armor parts. An assembly version of the VF-0 would make a lot more sense. The new item has to be an SV-51 or a YF-21 right? They are releasing Zero and Mac Plus toys. I doubt it's SDF Macross related since we just seem to get a trickle of reissues there. God I hope it's not all gray because it's an HDP kit.

I'm with WM Cheng here... looks awfully plain with the limited markings but that doesn't make it a BAD looking toy. Usually I'd add "i'd pay more for more markings" but the Arcadia VF-0 toys were already priced to the stratosphere.
