  1. Not bodies per se. I would speculate that the UN only discovered patches of blood and stuff that remained aboard the ASS-1.
  2. Afaik, it's exclusive to GameStop stores or something. for $20. Not sure if Ebay stores have it.
  3. It's the new Battle Damage line from Joyride. Didn't come with the usual stickers, tho. Pretty bare. Would've been kewl if they'd included the Wolf's Dragoons/Wolfpack stickers.
  4. Yup. The Bandai Super-Hikaru 1/55 is also on Sale.
  5. Three days was actually fast and considering the high-quality of the fansub (correct grammar structure, timing, spelling, fonts, etc, etc), it really is an amazing fansubbing-feat. I don't think any other group can top nor touch the subtitling effort Infusion did on this episode. Infusion should really be contracted by the Region-1 companies to do official subtitling.
  6. This is the necessary video-codecs: http://download.divx.com/divx/DivX511Bundle.exe That's the one without the ads/nagware. Do not install the player since it really sucks. Just install the video-codec. If you don't have any audio/sound, here's the AC3 audio-codec: http://www.anime-infusion.org/ac3filter.DW.Dolby2.exe Either or both shouldn't need a Computer Restart. Besides RealPlayer and QuickTime, Windows MediaPlayer and WinAmp-2 are both good players for this fansub. So does PowerDVD and WinDVD dvd-plaers, if you have them installed. Fwiw, it took me about 12 hours to dl the episode.
  7. Yes, when you see the Ghosts launch, there are VF-0s on deck, but later in the episode when the flight of 5 x SV-51's attack, the Asuka II's deck is completely empty. So maybe all the VF-0's apart from Roy's launched immediately after the Ghosts to go on a mission somewhere else. Even if this is true, it is incredibly stupid of the UN forces to leave a multi-billion dollar battle group consisting of one aircraft carrier, several Aegis cruisers and other ships(?)so lightly defended with no air cover, when you know the enemy is in the area and has Variable Fighters. Whoever is in command should be court martialed and shot. Graham You know, it is possible that DD and Nora already shot down all the launched VFs and Ghosts of the Asuka.
  8. I was hoping for more Ghost-action (i.e. aerial battle) in ep-3. Hopefully in ep-4 or something.
  9. btw, props to Spykes and the Infusion group for a really good subtitling effort (font-size/typeface/positioning/color). Very professional.
  10. It could be symptomatic of a bigger system-wide problem, i.e. virus or bad RAM. BT-downloads by themselves cannot reboot a system. I don't use nor install the Divx-player under my Windows-partitions. Just the codecs. WMP-9 works fine with it, as well as my other players like PowerDVD and even WinAmp-2. http://download.divx.com/divx/DivX511Bundle.exe
  11. That is an incorrect assumption. In ep-2, Alice/Aries was taking blood-samples from all the villagers, despite Sara's protestations. In ep-3, Alice asked about Sara's family-blood as being special during their encounter at the cave-mouth. Timecode at 5:25. Alice got further verification at timecode 7:04. Referenced with Infusion's subs. Only Sara and Mao were of the shaman-family (guardian) and Alice pretty much drove in that point hard against Sara. Nutuk was only the elder who tells story. The rest of the islanders does not have any of the effects that Mao and Sara have so far illustrated, e.g. Mao's sensing of the AFOS head about to be captured and Sara's song-effects. Nor any of the other villagers sharing the same blood-type as the sisters' . The sisters' blood matched those that were being collected from the AFOS. Incorrect. I think you should stop yourself from too much assumptions. fwiw, I'm not even talking about who made the AFOS glow at all. Watch the ep-3 again. It was Mao on the boat who sensed the AFOS head about to be captured _under_ the sea by the Anti-UN unit. Therefore, psychic-link was established with Mao. Sara also did not know that Mao had anything to do with the AFOS head until Shin told her it was Mao who asked him to protect her "treasure".
  12. Speculations..., I'm beginning to get convinced that Mao and Sara are not really humans, but rather real Protoculture people. Prolly the last and only direct descendants of the colonization-group that visited the earth. I'm beginning to suspect Mao as the one who will be fusing/controlling the completed AFOS. A very angry Mao bent on revenge since she does have feelings for Shin. Kinda like an updated take on the Plus' theme of Myung and Sharon Apple.
  13. thanx, panon. man, i want more battles!!!
  14. unfortunately, yes, i have and the store was Animenation during their vf-1a sale. i'm not sure if it's their fault or the shipper (ups?/usps?) they used. The box was pretty much smashed on one side. Luckily, the contents was not affected at all. oh, well. that was the last time i'll ever buy anything from them.
  15. Yeah, the MZero OST songs were pretty much mediocre.... except for Sara's song. It's different, but it is a classy theme. I like whistling it from time to time.
  16. Claudia Black, Monica Rial and Kira Vincent-Davis, maybe. Everyone else... Bleh... I'd rather have... Atsuko Enomoto (Kurumi) Rie Tanaka (Saki) Masayo Kurata (Karinka) Houko Kuwashima (Nakahito/Nako) Kotono Mitsuishi (Misaki) Actually, Atsuko's the only bonafide cutie one in the japanese Kurumi-cast. She was featured in the R1 interview-extras of kare-kano disc-4. The rest of the Kurumi jap-cast were just really meh. Now if they had added Maria Yamamoto in the cast, they would've had two bonafide cuties. But of course, our tastes differ. --treatment--
  17. http://www.kiddygrade.tv/ in wmv and/or quicktime ECLAIR IS COMING !!!!!!
  18. this is sweet news! i dont have to buy my third vf-1J for the GBP-armor!!!
  19. I find SAK to be weaker compared to Mahoromatic. But there were so much character-design eye-candy on it and the story itself rates a B from me. and the opening-theme was so addicting. Even tho I think the english-dub was a B-, I luv Hillary Haag's (my favorite english-va) swearin-like-a-sailor on eps 13-14. It was freakin hilarious and was excellently done. I didn't expect a hottie to swear like Hillary did with her Karinka. Great voice-acting, I say. Oh, and the other Kurumi dub-team were hotties, too. Check out their photo-shoot. http://www.advfilms.com/favorites/kurumi/g...photoshoot.html
