heads up! The Stampede seems to be on-sale this week. Target has it locally (not online) at $39.99 while Amazon has it at $35.58 with free shipping. not sure how much it is from TRU and wally's, tho. btw, can the Raider have the drum-mag (or any compatible mag for it) installed on the right-side instead of the default left-side? without any modding, of course.

Uhmm, even wikipedia have several documented entries regarding Bruce Lee's actual fights (non-film) during his lifetime, so... -

Lol! That's really funny, A-One. Srsly, tho. Everyone would have love to watch Bruce Lee fight in the octagon of the MMA. However, had he lived, I just don't think Bruce Lee will be that desperate enough to join that kind of violent circus. Maybe Chuck Norris instead? -

Strike A Pose! V.4 - The Macross Mech Pose Thread
treatment replied to JCSaves's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
yup, they are nice. would be alot nicer with those dang overpriced armor-FPs, tho... -
I was checking them Bandai-stands before to use for my MGs, but I thought they were flimsy as heck for the valks. As light as my vf1-v2s are, I'm really not sure I want to further risk them with those stands. Tho maybe they'll be good for Bandai's valks...

From google-translate, it looks like just a signature-gathering/petition thingy by a fan "committee" . -
fwiw, Yamato-Toys actually has some fighter-mode shots of both the YF-19 and the YF-21 with their FPs using the yammie-block: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1650
-
The Yammie-block requires a male-type adaptor for connection, but the SV-51's a female-type. Iirc, the YF-21's have the same stand. Afaik, only the VF1-v2, VF0, and YF-19 have male-type adaptors.
-
Welp! Sorry, dude. the yammie-block don't seem to have any adaptor for my Nora. So unless somebody knows better about it, I'll just post a Nora/Hikaru comparo-pic for you (with bonus Roy vf-1 gerwalk-pics) : edit: i'll try to get my Roy-Zero out maybe tomorrow or the weekend. I believe the adaptor there will work on the yammie-block. or not.
-
I'll try to take and post a pic of the Nora-fighter (full-load) on the yammie-block tonite. I think I can pose her in horizontal fighter-mode, but that's about it. She's just way too long and too tall for the yammie-block in gerwalk and battroid modes. My YF-19's in storage and will only get taken out when I finally get the FP for it. My old "metal-legged" 1/60 and 1/72 valks are likewise in storage and i'm really not that motivated to break them out again. I'm not even sure the adaptors are even usable on 'em.

I got the yammie "mighty block" thingy. Other than fighter-mode, I haven't tried any of the other modes yet on it. They are a bit cheeky and need some minor balancing schemes. I reckon it'll need some minor modifications and/or tightening up for the more exotic poses. I haven't done any mods on it, yet. Still stock stuff since I'm a bit lazy. Anyways, it's ok enough for me and I'm still waiting for a good sale and exchange-rate on the Yammie Launch-Arms. Oh, here be me pics... edit: forgot to mention that I don't think it can handle any valk other than the VF-1 1/60 v2. I'm tempted to try my Nora on it, but the yammie-block is just way too small and way too short/low for it. edit2: added battroid-mode pics using yammie-block...

welp! stopped by target tonite after some burrito-run and whaddayaknow? they actually got new'er TF-stuff on their pegs than last monday. RTS-figs: (2) Tracks, (2) Perceptor, (6) Prime, and a bunch of Bumblebee-RTS. So, much as I really loathe the $11.99 pricing on a $7 fig, I bought the Tracks and Perceptor coz I just might not see them again. a big F-U to Hasbro's distro-tactics! I didn't like the look and stuff of the new Prime-RTS. So, anyway. Check your local Target again. Maybe they got better/newer stocks now. late edit: added some bot-pics of 'em. yeah. Perceptor's actually got some shiny...

well, just some shots of Blurr and his not-quite-so-straight rifle doing his best to imitate either a classic RX-79[G] pose or a Hikky-1S pose. damn rifle ain't straight most likely due to the way it was strung tightly in packaging. i'll straighten it out one of these days and prolly give it to my Cliffy-wfc.
-
fyi. as i'd mentioned in the tf-thread, there seems to be some N-Strike sale going on at Target. There were some at TRU, too. Most prominent is the Vulcan going for $29.99 at Target as a "temporary sale" thingy whatever. Dunno how long it's gonna last, tho.
-
Yeah, so as of tonite's retail-trip... Both nearest Target and Wally's have stocked up and filled up their TF-pegs with ROTFail figs. So if you're really dying to get your hands on Terradive/Tomahawk/Skids/Ravage/Elita-1/Jolt , well, there you go. TRU's even worst. Combino-crap and Ravages. They do have that huge Ultimate Bumblebee ($100). About the only thing good was that both Target and TRU has some decent sale on Nerf N-Strikes.
-
Great wonfest-pics, guys! Yammie's Fire Valk's actually pretty nice. Doubt I'll import it, tho, since I vastly prefer the Blazer version. and of course, the Nightmare 17. make it so, yamato!
-
oh, wow! almost missed this. lol! Rodimus Fail. again.
-
geezus, Hasbro. the Trailer's nice enough to be just as a frickin' trailer. it does not need to be a GIGANTIC FAIL like that damn stupid gimmick.
-
found and bought Blurr tonite at the local Target. even at $12 coz he's the only one on the peg. he was going for $15 at fry's last year. anyway, bunch of Bumblebee-RTS shelfwarming alongside Fallback. wait, Fall-who? Didn't he used to be an ROTF-fig? nothing much else. gonna be visiting the other nearest Target tomorrow for Kup.
