    Most likely an issue with the lighting. Also keep in mind that camera's can create a differentiation in color that your eyes would not be able to notice when viewing an object in person.

    I can not afford to make Macross display stands. I have a better chance of selling display stands in general. I will still offer the Macross adapters, but I have already made some adapters for other popular franchises. I need a larger market so I can sell these for less per unit. It will probably be months before these are available.

    The test pilot aspect of Macross Plus struck a chord with me when it saw its US release on vhs. I love the design of the YF-19, and YF-21. I sat through Macross 7 not really knowing what it was about last year after finally finding a decent copy. I eagerly awaited seeing the VF-19 and VF-22 in action. I was so excited! So, so excited...

    I nabbed the recently added and discontinued b grade yf-19 on HLJ. To be honest, I think I had a PayPal balance. Looks like it was closer to $72 usd off.

    Received my "b-grade" YF-19 from HLJ. This seems to be the extent of the package damage. Not bad for $100 off.

    That would be quite the trade off. Hexagons only have six stops, one every 60 degrees. Not a lot of flexibility.

    I was thinking about how to offer this to more lines or products. Honestly, I could design any adapter worthwhile.

    I am assuming the effect of the black o-ring with clear parts would be similar to the animation I posted earlier in this thread. I don't have a final quote from anywhere for tooling. Keep in mind the poll is just information gathering. A lot could change, including cost.

    I hear you. The front loaded cost of tooling is what makes this expensive. If the poll shows there would be more orders than I am estimating, I would drop the price. I am not looking to scalp anyone.

    Depends on volume. If people ordered a total of 10,000, these would be pretty cheap.

    Chances are it is going to be all or nothing. If you look at this drawing, you can see the the base pivot is slotted to fit the DX stands. It is going to be more cost effective across the board to have one option, one kit of parts. I am going to try and put together a youtube video to go over the stand. Maybe it will help in clarifying some things.

    All I heard for requested options was black and clear. Other colors are not off of the table, but there would have to be enough demand. I would not be able to get the Kite and SMS bases manufactured, unless you want to pay the licensing fees and get Harmony Gold to get on board. Good luck.

    It is going to be cheaper across the board to offer one package of parts. You can make the stand you linked with the parts in the proposed kit.
