  1. Cost is the only thing stopping this from working at this point. I will get around to a manufacturer for a quote.
  2. It is already set up that way, altough I prefer to have the separate bottom piece so it can be centered on the printable bases.
  3. VF-25 ankles are awesome. Something similar could have been implemented. I am disappointed that the ankles are pretty much the same as the VF-19's.
  4. Fatherly advice: Do not get a payday loan. Ever.
  5. Yes. The o-ring generates the friction. The printed arms do not make contact with each other.
  6. There is nothing functionally different with either the yamarcadia or bandai stands I have created. It just so happens the more recent pics are of the frontier stuff. The components would be the same, except for the stand adapters affixed to the top of the arm.
  7. AT2 has more stability issues than AT3 does. With AT3 you can adjust the fulcrum to control the center of balance. Since the bandai stand adapter is so tall (the chunky but that actually touches the valk), banking the fighter on AT2 can cause the stand to bend. AT1 is rock solid. AT2 needs user discretion to be solid. AT3 is not as solid as AT1, but is the most versatile out of the 3.
  8. Ha! Did we get the same one? That is the same scenario as the one I got from Jungle.
  9. I don't know why it wouldn't. I am going to model a base without any logos on it. Next step after that will be to get a quote.
  10. Thanks! This is going somewhere. Not sure where, but I will figure something out.
  11. Just trying out the kit of parts at this point. Having the 2 2-axis joints will help keep the item displayed stay closer to its center of gravity when trying more extreme angles.
  12. The arm pieces come out pretty quick. The printable bases were 4+ hours a piece, though.
  13. I was thinking about kickstarter. I want to design a generic launch/hanger style base. I will meet with a local manufacturer to talk about machining costs. That will help determine the route to take.
  14. I haven't gotten that far yet, but it is a possibility. I would need to sell at least 1,000 for injection molding. Do you think there is that much demand for these?
