thanks i guess the real "WOW" will go to the model, IF it ever gets built hmm... that MDF stuff looks pretty good, how'd you get all that detail in ? I used the material once, but it didn't agree with me

I got one for you one of my own VF designs, I've always wanted to build it, but I can't seem to find the right materials to make it happen... and i had the "transformation math" all worked out... now i gotta figure it out all over again EDIT: PICS !!!

Space War 1 I'd prefer to see the VF 1 & the Macross at the height of thier war potential, not as a training dummy/novelty item & a gigantic paperweight with lights

what about the Evil Dead trilogy ? 1 ended with Bruce Campbell driving away from the cottage/shack, 2 ended with him being sucked into the dark ages & Army of darkness ended with him kicking ass in the S-Mart OR laughing in the director's cut

wow... 10 pages already ? when's it gonna end ? phalanx, if you wanna talk 'redesign smack', take it to the fan works section, there's an old topic about this sort of thing over there. mind you, you're gonna have to come up with something better than MS paint. and... the VF 1 is perfect the way it is. you design NEW things that PAY HOMAGE to perfection. you don't redesign PERFECT. I imagine this guy has a lot of spare time & cash for this sort of thing. He seems to prefer styrene & lots of Mr. putty for the initial sculpt, then he uses some kind of resin for the final product. man, if I only had that kind of spending power, I'd have my own garage's worth of those things

That's pretty interesting although... you gotta consider that the wings aren't where they're supposed to be in the lineart

Voltes V & Getter Robo

Yup, it's got gunpods the game animation shows them firing in tandem, 1 from each arm. I forget if they also work in Gerwalk mode, but they're definitely there in Destroid mode The rail guns won't fire unless it's in Gerwalk EDIT: From what I remember, you can pretty much do all the acrobatic stuff like say, a VF 1, but it's pretty slow. And the game soved the landing gear problem by simply switching to gerwalk if you get too close to the ground

The game doesn't help, you don't get to see anything open or close when the thing's firing. except for the rail guns hell, even the gunpods were quite the mystery too, since everything just kinda shoots from the same place I agree on "it's a launcher", but i'm leaning towards grenade, not missile

I'd like to see them go through all the VF series in the same scale, even if they just decide to do 1 version of each. Imagine... VF 0 through 19 in 1/48 scale, no repaints or "limited" stuff. they were on the right track with the Mac+ line, then they rescaled with the VF1's... Sure, it'd cost them a whole lot, but it'd be much better than oversaturating the market with the same product, and they'd probably make more money in return

A perfect-transforming SDF 1 TV/MOVIE conversion kit would be something to see... It would break minds... and spirits... and wallets... too bad it's unlikely to happen

I'd use an over-complicated DEATH RAY !!! built on the closest orbiting moon or asteroid. And I'll watch the doom unfold on a 50 foot TV & sitting on a remote controlled chair

Interesting site It highlights Voltes V's most devastating weaponry & the "kicking ass w/o the legs" episode Although it still hasn't corrected the local misconception of "ULTRA ELECTROMAGNETIC" if you run it through a dictionary, Voltes V is actually a "SUPER ELECTRIC" machine

I don't get it... What's the deal with these clear plastic variants ? All you get is the same figure minus the paint & a bigger price tag A clear Predator or Tachikoma I would kinda understand, but a clear Vash ?

I was kinda thinking AC's & WANZERS, they'd fit the chunky frame well then the question: can they stay balanced carrying weapons ? ...maybe a walking Macross ?
