The Quarter seems small so I would say it is based there. 4) Why not? Provided you remember to put on underwear. 5) Nah. Depends if you're using it as a parachute, parasail or canas for your sailboat. Could useful as window curtains I think.

Good question and I want to know too. Which leads to another question: since the VF-171 is still considered new, why are they already developing the Messiah? Unless, of course, it was meant to fight the Vajra from the beginning and SMS was created for that purpose also. BTW, anybody caught the name of the 171? Is it still the Nightmare or something else? I didn't recall seeing any name for it.

I just remembered something. Since Pin Point Barriers exist, why don't we see it installed on the fleet vessels? We see that it can be installed on valks in Mac+, unless it is cost prohibitive and putting them on so many warships is just unreasonable on the economy. Or, they do exist for Frontier's escorts and the Red Lobster's cannon was just too powerful.

I want to join the chorus of praise and thanks to all the fansubbers of Frontier. Without you guys, MWers would be at each other's throats, arguing who is right about what is said in the raws. Kidding guys...please put the pitchfork down... But seriously, I really appreciate the efforts of Shinsen, AiA and Gattai for subbing the series. All I ask is that when the series run is over one of the groups would be kind enough to go over the translations and release a ver.2 to correct it. It would be nice to have a clearer translation. But since this is just a wish, I am willing to wait for a quality rerelease down the road. Meanwhile, I am going to watch the DVDs with Japanese subs on.

I'm not sure if the Maizuru is the only new vessel here. The text did not refer the carrier as a stealth carrier or anything. It just named it Maizuru in kanji and it is the same for the escort carrier Uraga. I remember seeing the Maizuru/Guantanamo in Mac7 so speculate away folks. The description of the Maizuru says that it is part of the warship complement of Frontier and it is a develpment of the ARMD type space carriers. It seems to be a popular vessel in the NUNS and it has 4 catapults. I made a mistake when I said the Stealth Frigate is a new vessel. The only new vessel I gather here aside from the Macross Quarter would be the Stealth Cruiser. After looking at the Stealth Frigate again I realize it was the angle playing with my eyes and the frigate is just a recolored and refit version of the Bolognese Class. I say refit because you can see turrets as opposed to the original version which has none or none that I can see. Again, this is based on my observation over the years. I could be wrong. I believe there will be another Macross Frontier which is the titular warship of the anime aside from the Quarter. In other words, we might see some large scale Macross cannon pr0n sometime before the series end. I can't wait! As for the Vajra, first contact with them were made around 2040. The New UN government had been keeping it quiet since.

Sweet! Finally I understood why they name it Messiah. It has to do with the song Shao Pai Long. The VF-171 was deployed as the NUNS mainline fighter back in 2058. The new destroid is called Destroid Work. It is not armed but this type is equipped with manipulators for delicate work. It seems to me Luca can command Ghost fighters as well. The wording could remotely command like attack pods/bits. Interesting feature for the RVF-25. So there are two new vessels for the fleet: Stealth Frigate and Stealth Cruiser in addition to the Uraga and Maizuru-class ships.

Since we're on the subject of tuna, I really like Toro aka Fatty Tuna. They taste great especially as sashimi.

All you need for the ratings to drop is an episode or two with a bad script and lousy drawing. We don't need a repeat of that Aquarion episode where they end up in a fantasy zone and they were drawn like some kid's nightmare made real. All I ask for Frontier to be strong is they keep the story moving with strong developments and decent action on each episode. So far they are going strong and doing great. Just don't stop for a damn recap episode. We can all do without that.
