    What makes you think she's never done the deed? People keep saying this but it was never a problem in any of the other series.

    Gonna have to disagree heavily. While Hayate and Freyja's relationship does have some similarities to Alto and Ranka's, they have way way WAY more romantic chemistry than those two ever did. Especially after the rune scene at the end of this episode. From the time they both joined Delta/Walkure their relationship has been that of equals, whereas the Alto Ranka thing always felt a lot more one-sided romantically. Plus It seems like they actually get each other, whereas it never seemed Alto and Ranka had a particularly deep personal connection. The one that I'm not feeling anything particularly more than platonic from is Mirage and Hayate. Hoping for some progress on that front so that things are little more dramatic. As it stands now this is pretty much the opposite of how things were in Frontier. I will say that I don't have a particular preference for either ship, which is again pretty different from how I felt during Frontier.

    Probably chose Vita due to ease of development. Good news being that you should be able to get a Vita pretty cheaply. Bad news being the graphics will be "meh" Any word on the developer?

    Damn, Mirage better step up her pilot game soon. Hayate as well of course. I wonder if it will turn out to be a thing where the two of them flying together and complementing each other strengths and weaknesses will lead to them being able to realize their true potential. A unique two person flying style that keeps enemies off balance and lets them handle greater numbers. If so it's gonna be an awesome moment when they first figure this out.

    Wasn't feeling this episode as much as the first four. The animation on Hayate's joyride seemed a little off, plus the art quality wasn't as good as normal there either. The water at times looked like a stock gradient in photoshop. Still enjoying the character interactions though. It was good to see our main three together again, and also the little detail of Mirage trying to find Hayate before he could get busted by Messer, and Hayate defending her in turn. Messer actually annoyed me this episode for once, but I'm excited to see his character get expanded on later. Gotta say, I'm liking Frejya so much more than I did Ranka at this point of the series. Can't wait to get some more info about that new classic VF (SV)

    So much hate for the Catfish stuff. I liked it, and I like how Hayate followed Shin's method of learning Valkyrie techniques from ocean creatures. Lol someone wasn't paying attention since all of this was clearly spelt out in the episode

    Watching it with subs made me like Messer even more. The whole exchange between him and Hayate after Messer interrupts his little celebration is gold.
