Damn that looks nice. The only modelling I've ever done is Gunpla though, and I didn't paint those, just panel line and do dry transfer decals. Always wanted to give it a try though... -
Well considering how almost all the technology in Macross works, the console probably gets transported to Super Dimensional space or something

Wasn't the 31A pod confirmed to be a missile container already? Satellite was just too lazy to design a different looking one. Glad to see they actually showed it firing in the show though

Imagine how much they would charge for a NEW VF-1 mold Which was always the most likely option It's cool with me, but I wish they would do some of the more hard to get valks like the VT and VE and M&Ms

The FAST Packs in those photos have all the markings that normally come on the sticker sheet. It would be a pretty big stretch to think Arcadia would add additional markings that they don't even have on the sticker sheet imo. Paying $100 more just for extra tampo seems pretty ridiculous. I normally trim and apply the stickers myself and they come out looking just as good as the tampo. Yea it's a hell of a lot more work, but I dunno if it's $100 worth more work. *Looks over at the VT-1 he has yet to finish stickering*

As much as I love my Arcadia YF-19, those damn wing joints are by far my biggest issue with it. I just can't find a way to get them to stay fully forward without falling back slightly at the smallest touch. I really wish Arcadia had designed a locking mechanism for them. -
Can't speak for anyone else but for me the problem with the YF-29's Gerwalk mode is the problem I have with the YF-29 in general. It's far too busy. The VF-25's Gerwalk mode just seems more balanced and sleek

Yea I remember the in-series model of the 31A having the same configuration as the Delta Platoon valks, but according to official materials the 31A is supposed to have a missile pod in place of the charger pod and additional armament in the legs in place of the multidrones

BOOM! Got through at HLJ, just got the confirmation email! HLJ is usually the best option for me because they actually have decent shipping options to where I live and best of all they don't charge up front. Thanks a million man! Wouldn't have found the page otherwise. First time doing pre-order madness, this is crazy, I don't know how you guys cope.

I think it's EXTREMELY unlikely that they DON'T make it. After all, they made the -30 which is a videogame exclusive and the Kairos has only a few minor differences from the other 31 models. Might be a web-exclusive or something but I'd be willing to bet that it gets made eventually

Yea add me to the list of those that actually don't mind the landing gear design at all. Still far better than the VF-25 v1 lmao Honestly the gap behind the cockpit might be a dealbreaker for me, and it bothered me from the very first shots of the transformable toy were released. Plus I'm already not crazy about the canopy and nose shape. Even when it's pushed together it still seems noticeable, but that might just be psychological. Have any pics of how it looks when using your method? If it really does sit flush then I'd be more likely to try and get Messer's. Also, is there any easy way to lighten the orange tint of the canopy?
