A couple of CF & some N (1/150) scale buildings = instant Ataria island fight scene.

Just need to integrate the light & sound into a VF-1J on the catapult.

Yeah, something like that. I will re-watch it - I hope the impressions change. The way the final scene was filmed (that whole scene could've been the start of Ep VIII) was so un-Star Wars that it undid a lot of the build up for me.

I couldn't disagree more - considering the character's backstory, I'm surprised he looked the way he did. The helmet was pretty ridiculous, too. Not sure that Mark Hamill had to appear in this episode at all...

Very nice! I can't wait for Wave to release their 1/100 Monster!

Guys - thank you all. Contemplating a conversion of a Wave 1/100 VF-1J Battroid into a -1D. Thanks for the assist.

Random one: In Battroid mode, is the VF-1D taller than other VF-1 variants? I'm thinking that it is due to the longer cockpit - translating into greater height when vertical. Thoughts?

Looks great - as does the VF-1J! A true-scale 1/72 Zentran soldier would be great, too. Would buy them both.
