  1. I designed a wallpaper of the VF-1S to work on my vertical monitor, which also works well for mobile.

I'll be making more wallpapers as time permits. I open to suggestion, let me know what you would like to see.

    Enjoy! :D

Yeah, the tolerances are so close that if the hands aren't perfectly folded up and in the right orientation, it can shear the thumbs right off.

But since the hands aren't visible at all in fighter mode, I just took them off before transforming.

My buddy's thumb broke off on his 262.  I have pretty much left my 262 in Battroid mode after doing photos.  One day I'll transform it back into Fighter mode, and then back into Box Mode.

^ This is the safest way of doing it. ;)

I'll note that for the day I transform it back.

No camera can make up for composition and lighting...Conversely, any camera these days especially can produce more than decent looking images when composited and lighted nicely. Speaking of...your picture actually looks really good to me. Just the background isn't the most flattering.

@Slave IV very well said. :good:

Was paneling my 0A before adding decals and like the VF-4 it really does make it look less flat. Don't know when I'll actually get anything else though. :unknw:

Great work on the panel lining, Valks look great out of the box with the added panel lining it takes it to a whole new level.

Here are some old shots of boring out of the box 0A. :D

I was so disappointed when they pulled the plug on the 1/60 version.

I was truly disappointed!  Although armors were prototypes, they were quite impressive to see in hand.  The armor added quite a bit of mass and weight to the Valk to give it a very imposing look.

Funny story, when FEXT contacted me to ask if I would like to photograph the prototypes and that they would ship them to me, I agreed.  I thought it was only the armor prototypes they were shipping but when I opened the box the armors were attached to 2 Yamato Valks.  I messaged my friend at FEXT and he told me the Valks were from his personal collection. :shok:

Ya. That was a bummer, indeed..

    That's a great picture @Saburo !

Very much a bummer, I did what I could to help get to the PO quota, I PO 6 of each version.

Thank you for the compliment @Bolt much appreciated!

Really excellent pics! The way the lighting sweeps over the cockpit somehow gives it a nice dynamism.. :good:

Thank you @MKT I appreciate it. :)  There are times when I am readjusting the camera to get the light just right or to get a clear shot of the pilot figure and then there the times when its "Whatever..."

Unfortunately you can't use the stand adapter while the gunpod is attached. :(

Hopefully @ChaoticYeti can make a Yeti Stand Adapter, when he gets back up and running again.

Mine kept getting stuck halfway in and I was convinced I was doing something wrong and was going to mar the plastic on the fighter. Once it got in there, it was super solid though.

I had the same issue, I was afraid to damage something.  After applying more pressure the gunpod seated properly with no damage.

  9. Still sad that FEXT was not able to get the funding for 1/60 OWL Armors. :( In one of my chats with FEXT after the FEXT 1/60 OWL Armor didn't hit the quota, I asked them if they would consider upscaling the armor for 1/48 scale since the DX Chogokin VF-1 was announced.  They said they would look into it for future.  I think I would costs would be too high. :(
