    I made 2 orders via Nin-Nin (back when I first started collecting Valks) the first order went through without incident, the second was not so smooth. I had made the payment, waited a few days but never got a shipping confirmation. I emailed them and didn't get a reply for a week, and when they did reply they said it would be shipping out that week. I waited and nothing... So I emailed them again, and the reply came a few days later saying they were having problems and they said it would ship. So after another week of waiting I filed a claim with PayPal and got my money back. I have not done business with them since.

    Welcome Doublepush, that is a great start to your Macross collection. Soon you'll have no room in your Detolf to display them all and need to expand. I started with one Valk on my desk and then... Haha

    Congratulations spanner, she is a beauty! Wow, I guess I am not surprised. The prices for these jump up quickly one they are released, except for maybe the Freedom. The Gold Frame Amatsu Mina? I haven't seen any listing for PO, but I am not going to get it. I am hoping they'll release the Red Frame and Blue Frame, after the Gold. I looked at my Repair III and I didn't notice it at first but yes the waist is slightly crooked.

    Glad I could clarify. I have a Metal Build Exia Repair III, which includes the weapons and shield which are the weapon+ pack for the Avalanche. The only thing I am missing is the GN Sword mounting bracket. $400 is too way too much to get a piece of plastic. The next Metal Build release is the Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina. I don't care for it so I will not be picking up. Yes, those LED sets sold out quickly and go for premium now. Its like collecting Valks, I wonder if they sell out in seconds... LOL

    Hehe.. I was doing the same thing, but I was just waiting for NY to fulfill my PO. I am not sure what you are looking at , the weapon+ pack is included in the box (different box).     Although $330 is still about a $100 mark up MSRP for either version. If it indeed is the Weapon+ version it would be cheaper than the going price for the Avalanche Weapon+ version. Manda has sold the a few for ¥35,000 and currently has 2 listed for ¥40,000+.

    Which version is it? There were two releases; standard Avalanche release and Limited Avalanche Weapon+ Pack release (includes extra GN swords, beam sabers, GN sword mounting bracket and shield). If the version that is available locally is the Weapon+ Pack version, I would pick it up. I have the standard release, I wasn't able to get the Weapon+ Pack release. Standard Release box +Weapon parts release box Thank you, I try my best.

    Ok, I just took a look at the Avalanche and it appears they corrected crooked waist.

    I am pretty sure I'll regret my decision, but I need to put aside money for a big purchase. Please send the photos though, I more than likely will break down and order one later (if the pricing is good.).

    Thank you brouken! I used to collect quite a bit of Gundam series then I stopped collecting. When I got back into collecting, I made sure to limit my Gundam purchases and I just stick Gundams I like in the Metal Build series and GFF Metal Composites. I thought about the Robot Damashii series, but there are just way too many of them. Hmmm... I would hope they corrected it, I'll check both the Avalanche and Repair III when I get home and let you know my findings. Yes most Gundam's are tough and menacing, then there are the some that look stupid (a few from Mobile Fighter G Gundam). The next release of the Metal Build series is the Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina and its very menacing looking. Not sure if I'll pick it up, it wasn't one of my favorites.

    After some thought, I cancelled mine. There was something else I wanted to use the money for, if they are still available for a good price later I'll pick one up.

    Damn, that sounds good right now. I am also planning my trip back home to Hawaii for June. The lighting on mine is a warm light too. I was ok with it but after seeing spanner's lighting setup, I kind of want swap them out for a cooler white and that is going to be more money to spend... Great shots and setup on your valks.

    Probably... but you have more other valks. Oh and the SDF-1 If you ever want to sell it... let me know. (I am just throwing it out there) My yellow assistant demanded I build him a throne out of my Valk boxes. LOL Awesome displays abbadon and ophio!!
