How hard would it be to strip the paint off one of these Xmods? I want to repaint my yellow skyline with something a little beter.

Actually maybe you guys wouldknow of a source for good kits of a LEV or Orbital Frame from Z.O.E.? I have looked but cant find anything. 600$ he he thats chump change when your umping a grand for an R/C tank. Not that i can do that very often mind you

Do you think SMT may have internal problems causing the difficulties in shipping aside from their CND order from LFL? They did lose a big chunk in their model revenue when they were forced to drop the SW line.

Actually in the Alien Quadrilogy set they restored the origional ruined earth ending to Resurrection and alot of other scenes. Alien3 is also a drastically changed movie. It has alot of the origionally scripted parts added back in like a whole different beginning, the scene where they capture the alien and different scenes throughout. All 4 movies in the set have a directors or "origional" cut option to them. Its the first reissue box set that actually contained something worth buying.

OK heres what i have. Knight your idea is good but will have to wait till summer for me to execute since im going to be very busy the next few months with leaving the country and parents visiting. I do plan on constructing it i just need to make up a good parts breakdown before i begin building IN the meantime i have something to fill the gap. I recieved my model of Prince Xixors Virago from Shadows of the Empire today and its just what i needed. One snag i have never seen any good pics of it outside the game graphics. The model is pretty plain and i wanted to add some greebils to it . Outside of any previously published material has anyone else seen a good built up version of this kit?

I figure id put this here instead of starting yet another starwars thread. I got my Obi, Annie and Grevious unleashed in the mail today and WOW Obi and Annie have optional bases that allow you to display them opposing each other in the final battle with flame and lava all around them or the bases can lock together so they can stand "with" each other like the beginning of the movie. Grevious has a slanted display like he is hanging on a wall. He comes with 2 lightsabers and a blaster. My only gripes are with Grevious. All the box art shows the figure having scorch marks and scratches on him that are weathered but on the figure they arent . The scratches are molded in but no weathering. I think this first batch of his figure were rushed out. Looks like some repainting is in order like i did for Jango. Obi and Annie are for lack of a better word , perfect. They both have dirt and soot on them like they have been fighting for quite a while on an ash strewn world in intense heat. Their poses are extremely agressive and the detail is delicately sculpted. Unlike other unleashed figures(Padme) These actually look like the actors in the film. Ill post pics tomorrow i hope those of you who havnt seen them like what you see.

Whenever i go to a hobby shop andi think i need 2 bottles for a project i pick up 4 just in case. You always wind up needing more than you think. Looks great man and what the hell are these touch ups you say you need i think it looks perfect there.

Im glad im not dealing wit SMT anymore. Ill just patiently wait on the new 1/72 one. How is the progress on that awyway?

Sounds like alot of early 80s anime. Theres a few oldies im looking for too that were redubbed for american TV release im looking for but ill never find them because the name they were broadcast under is not the name they actually had.

I remember him as Hans when i see him but snape when i hear him. I was 10 when Die Hard came out. Snape just seems more memorable to me. It could be worse i could have said that character from Galaxy Quest.

In the first level with the lamprey assault boats i cant keep from killing whats his name when he is running away. What did you guys do to keep from killing him? I have tried everything from lasers to extremely low powered missiles and have gotten nothing but him blowing up and the level needing to be repeated. I hate the knock out but dont kill levels in games like this.

Whenever Bruckheimer or Bey are mentioned with some other movie something bad happens somewhere in the world. I think the characters held up well as portrayed by the actors too. Good casting took some of the bite away from the changes in the story. Marvin was spot on and almost verbatim to the scenes he was in. I feel so sorry for MR. Davis(willow) in the robot suit though he said the head weighed a ton.

yeah i hear ya there. I know its bombing out in america but here in the UK its getting gobbled up. I didnt agree with the whole gun part of the story either . It wasnt a needed addition. i still like the movie as a whole though. It could have been ALOT worse. I still cant stop seeing Prof Snape from the Harry Potter series when i hear the robots voice. Same actor.

A1 you can fit in the M3? wow. I need something like my camaro or similar size to even feel comfortable in a car. im 6ft1.
