    What's the difference? Looking at both references the systems work the same. Eventhough RT doe have it's stranger than fiction (far beyond sci-fi) references, there still might be some truth to it. Just a thought, NB4M

    Bluedeath, Nice work! I like the fact that you want to keep it as a toy, it give it the old nostalgic play factor and to mention what could have been released bakc in the days. I too am going to be building a 1/55 Elint Custom as soon as the kit (from Mike) and decals (from Devin) arrive. Where did you get the boot? How much are they and where can I get some?     What's the point of that...they might as well make it out of vynil. Since it would hold up better than the mediums they are currently using.

    Quality is what the Bandai 1/55s are all about. It has a great deal of improvements over the old Takatoku 1/55s. Bandai IMHO did an excellent re-production of the VF-1. While it may be chunky monkey, it still would be worth having. After all, our VF-1(s) deserve to know their true lineage. As far as collectibility (money-wise), only time will tell.
