Well, I don't know about you guys, but it's still Christmas Eve over here, so MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE everybody!!! I hope when christmas hits in a few hours, everybody will get all that they wanted for christmas!! And a happy New Year as well!! I just hope that with the New Year will bring new things. This year has been kinda crappy for me. So hopefully next will be a brighter year!!!

Man, the way I see it, the smaller the valk, the metal it has. 1/144 - little bit more metal, less detail, easier to play with. 1/55 - more metal, less detail. 1/48 - less metal, abundance of detail

yeah, he does come with the flip up comm with bumblebee on it and there's another one that has starscream. Why does he have starscream? I don't know.

it was 2001 AX. I took a picture with him and he also autographed and drew minmay in my mikimoto art book!! that was the highlight of my AX2001 trip!! Man, it was funny how he was just sitting there with nobody coming up to him for any autographs. I felt like going up to him for more autographs (which I did! ). I got a postcard signed, and my other mikimoto book signed. I was so tempted to have him draw me another picture in my book of minmay and hikaru, but I didn't want to push it.

yeah, they look to serious. I love the movie and even the cartoons. Except for that new one that they released a while back. Anyway, I guess in the comic book world, everything that was funny and goofy is turned into dark and serious.

Ok, here's my take: 1. That looks like a normal 1/55 gunpod. It could be from an original, or a joons. 2. Looks like the front leg piece to a robot. 3. It's a gunpod for one of those bootleg small valkyries that are pretty ugly 4. Don't know 5. That I know for sure is from the orguss line of small figures. The gun goes to Nikick. I have the 1/60 version and it has the same style gun but more detailed of course. 6. That piece goes on the side of either the left or right leg of a small plastic orguss toy. 7. That's an alpha gun. Either for the 1/55 3 mode, or 2 mode alphas. 8. That is definitly a gun for one of those small plastic orguss toys 9. That gun looks like it's for one of those banpresto toys. But it could be a bootleg one. 10. That gun is for scott bernard from the matchbox robotech action figure series. 11. Yet another valkyrie gun. This one has got to be from some bootleg valk. Hope this helps. Oh by the way, in the lot that you won, was there an original leg clip for the bandai strike valkyrie? If so let me know. I might need that if you have no use for it. thanx.

awesome! Nice work. So what did you mean by building it for 275? You paid 275 for someone to build it for you or did you mean that it cost you 275 to build everything? Just trying to clear up some confusions.

I bought the book at the corner store at 3rd and wall streets. It's the store that has like a whole lot of bootleg stuff especially eva figures. They also have a whole stack of other bootlegged artbooks for really cheap prices. Good luck finding one now. I think everybody bought one already. I got mine like a year or more ago. Well, I'd say a far price to pay for a complete one would be 200 bucks, but that's it it's minty fresh. For a gold book with no film strip and poster, I'd pay 100 or under. And thanx to Rob (monkey-nugget) I finally bought one complete for only 140 with shipping from japan. No one mentioned it but another way I found out was the bookcovers are made of different type of paper. The oringinal is made of a hard paper while the bootleg is made out of a thinner cheaper paper. So for those who have the "originals" I suggest you check it out and compare it. Hope this helps.

I've been looking for these dolls for like ever now and was never able to find one for cheap and I've been searching for like 2 years or more now, I forget. Anyway, I'd like to see a picture of the stage dress minmay if anybody has pix of it.

The perfect memory book is an awesome book. It's the next best thing after the Macross Gold Book. I would totally pick up this book if I haven't done so already. I have two of these, one original and one bootleg. Now on that note, if the auction you saw was a bootleg copy, then I would not pay no more than 30 bucks for one and that's with shipping included. But if it's an original one, that's a hella good price then. I paid 90 bucks for my original one. And as for the bootleg, I paid only 18 bucks for it at a local bootleg place in L.A. So check carefully. I would say if it came with a sdf-1 poster, than it's definitly original. But if no poster came with it, then stay away. Good luck! and I hope this helps.
