  1. I hope they at least come out with The Green Kakizake as well as the Cannon Fodder.
  2. except for the GBP, I firmly believe what's out there is all that's out there as far as the 1/60 valks go.
  3. Well, the last 1/60 valkyrie i heard that is going to come out is the GBP armor versioned VF-1J. There's also the 1/60 Q-Rau Max version, but I assume you were talking about valkryies. Anyway, I think the GBP VF-1J is probably the last 1/60 valkyrie.
  4. Whats your issue with the man? He is a great action actor... I mean he isn't going to replace Patrick Stewart or anything, but for violence based movies (my favorites) he rocks. He was kinda a has been for a while, but I hope this movie represents his comeback. I want to fight.... in da kumintang...... No actor can do the splits like me. All I have to do is stick my foot up in the air like I do in every goddamn picture I take and you can see why I am the best action star in de world.
  5. Akira Bike when I hear of availability from the guy, but right now Zanbot!
  6. Bandai SOC GX-23 Zanbot If I can get these for $170 each, how many are interested? I will post in the For Sale thread if there is enough interest. Please post a reply in this thread!
  7. Monica Bellucci....mmmm.... oops I'm married!
  8. HELP ME HELP YOU...... HELP ME..... HELP YOU..... HELP... ME..... HELP... YOU.... SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!
  9. You guys got it all wrong. They delayed the release until after they are finished with the 1/100 scale line of valkyries.
  10. I can't tell you how many times something similar has happened to me. Anyway... I learned not to buy IBM hard drives after losing everything 3 times too many. Well, you will reinstall, start over..... life goes on.... which is pretty much how it went for me. although... I do back up stuff on CD and DVD more regularly now.
  11. Hmmmm, I think they're using NBA Height (measuring with shoes on). Well I guess maybe Roy had a customized cockpit.
  12. dont bother, the american version will be heavily edits with terrible dubbing sure, get the HK version What he said.... Us Americans over here are still too big headed to take seriously the talent in Asia.
  13. I considered getting it, but passed, since the prices were just way too expensive. Otherwise, I would have bought 5+ of them if they were much cheaper.
  14. I like Hound, and I like this re-paint scheme. I would get both if the repaint weren't so expensive.... we'll see, I may end up getting it anyway.
  15. I definitely don't want another low vis. I'd rather have another limited release of a different camo paint scheme.
  16. Eh... could've been worse. Could have been the guy that directed Batman Forever (I think that's the one with AhhhNooold The Governor.)
  17. Saw it at a pre-screening yesterday.... It was entertaining, but very, very....... PG-13 focused. Corny PG-13 jokes, corny PG-13 acting sometimes (although I don't know if it was meant to poke fun at the traditions of the older movies) If you are going to go in expecting something like Blade.... don't. Expect something more along the lines of Mummy, 5th Element....
  18. Ah nothing more positive than a good asian triad gang film like.... Young and Dangerous
  19. This is from a while back, but I haven't seen anyone address this. . . Why would Yamato care about "devaluing" previous releases?!? They made their money on the previous releases when they sold them at wholesale to the retailers. I doubt they give a rat's @ss about how much we pay at retail. As for the rest of this "argument". . . normally I like seeing people quote each other and respond. . . but it helps when you make sense. H if they make more. prices go down. who would buy a 1/48 at 120-140 if thier a dime a dozen. Well it's actually only around $80-90 if you live in HK. Prices are higher in the states because of the overseas sellers adding their % profit, and shipping costs. We, in the states are only seeing $100 + prices because of this fact. Of course if Toycom was allowed to sell these in the states, we would have pretty much prices as low as overseas. The fact is that these are made for the "Asia area market", so the retail price point is around $80-90, not the $100+ we pay here. Yamato must feel that $80-90 MSRP price point is reasonable over there. Of course they make their money from the wholesalers/distributors like Hurin said, and the retail price is up to the retailers.

    How lucky were you?

Wow... back then my parents weren't very well off, so I've only had a handful of toys. I've had 3 transformers in my entire childhood, 2 I got for a birthday gift, and the other christmas. They were Mirage and Hound. So I guess I got those at retail. The third one, a family friend offered to buy me a Jetfire for my birthday, but I thought it was too expensive and felt guilty, so I asked for the Blaster Master Radio Transformer instead.... a decision that I am still kicking myself for dammit!!!! Most of the stuff I got were as gifts from other people. I remember when my uncle would visit from Taiwan, I would always be anticipating a cool robot. The items I received from him were... Godaikin God Marz Godaikin Laserion (small version) Sauseraiger (clover green version) Iron Gear (red 4 inch tall plastic bootleg) and.... As for Macross toys.... I always envied them when I was a kid and had no idea where the !@#$!@#$ people got them. (I lived in Illinois at the time and most kids were into G.I. Joes). The only thing I got that was remotely related to Macross was a bootleg, 4 or 5 inch tall all plastic blue VF-1D (I distinctly remember the double visor), which was also a gift from my uncle. I've still got the God Marz and Laserion i got from him, but the rest fell apart with time. Anyway, now that I'm working I can indulge in all the new stuff to make up for lost collector's time!
  21. Women's groups j/k Gotta face the reality. We as males are not going to be needed anymore. We're being phased out. Are you kidding? This is only men's first step in the quest to create the perfect woman. Genes for a Hollywood star face: $5M Genes for a pair of porn star boobs: $2M Having your dream woman: priceless. Ah... but that is what these women's groups sponsoring this project want you to believe! They are lulling these scientists into a trap with the lure of the perfect woman. Little do they know they are being manipulated! Anyway... all of us *ahem* males... should gather together and protest this. We can call ourselves..... NO MA'AM (little "Married w/Children" reference there )
  22. Speak for your self pal... I know many ladies that didn't want to go on living without the Agent ONE WANG. If that's the case I guess they'll keep you around in their zoo after they take over the world. Look at him scratch his ass!
  23. Hey dude, I wasn't talking about myself, my wife is happily married to me. Eh... lame attempt at a joke anyway.
