I paid $105 for my Takara shipped... is it worth $30 - $35 to you to not have "battle damage" and "short smokestacks"? Maybe. But it's definitely worth it to me... mainly so I don't always look at it on my shelf and wish I had the better version. I don't want short smokestacks. I really don't want "battle damage". My advice is buy the verison of the toy that you'd rather have. You won't ever regret spending a little extra dough. I love my Takara Prime... I'm sure I would have blown that $30 on unnecessary meals out or something. All that Blaine23 said..... plus I like the Box better too. I like to have a nice box to store my stuff in. Same reason I go for the Takara Transformer collection re-issues over the hasbro re-issues. The boxes are that much nicer. (Although the prices are about the same for the G1 re-issues between the two). Anyway, that's my choice.

Don't know if it's possible, but can you sand down the flat underside a bit... so it's a little thinner and put the pieces together and use a thin strip of metal for a brace? Like a thin strip of metal on the underside where you would have sanded it down, only you are using it to hold the broken piece together (with glue of course). Basically putting the 2 pieces together onto a thin metal plate and gluing it.

I would like it much better if the lion faces weren't so cartoony looking. Makes it look kinda cheap. It's too simple for my taste better proportioned or not. I wouldn't want the thing to mirror exactly the way it was in the cartoon... I'd want the thing to look much better than what it was in the cartoon. Cartoon was old...gotta update the look instead of mirroring what it was back then. Take a look at the Bandai S.O.C. line. Stuff is based off old cartoons... but the sculpts look much cooler in proportion to Toynami's effort at making a Voltron based off the old Voltron cartoon.

Ok... here's what you do: Buy a couple of 1/60 Monster's Buy a whole mess of enemy 1/60's when they come out like the Q-Rau Make a diorama of a football field.... Use the Monster's for offensive linesman... make Roy the QB w/missile in hand .... Super Hikaru the running back... Max and Millia are wide receivers.... Millia's q-rau counterparts as cornerbacks..... etc.

Actually I already have a G1 Mirage w/accessories (unboxed). What I'm actually looking for is the Takara Transformers Collection series of Mirage. If and when it comes out. And I'd totally be stoked if they came out with a Binaltech F1 Racer Mirage.

I want my Binaltech F1 Racer And while we're at it.... how come Mirage hasn't come out as a G1 Commemorative Re-issue yet?

I would love to have the damn boxes smaller!! I shipped a VE-1 / VT-1 Combo to someone in Pennsylvania and they freaking charged me $30 for it!!!! The whole package weighed about 7-8 lbs, but it was the box size that they charged me for. Anyways, I called them up and got the shipping cost adjusted to go by the weight. If the boxes were smaller I wouldn't run into those damn problems.

Macross Plus is my favorite so far.... It's a more recent anime (Mid-Late 1990's i think), so you'll probably like it much better. The flying scenes in there also felt less "1980's generic flight scenes" to me too. As far as the music goes.... I think it's great! I have both of the OST's. It's got orchestral arrangements by Yoko Kanno, a rock song, an A-Capella song, and some techno beat numbers thrown in there too. I strongly suggest you try Macross Plus out.

I guess what we can learn from this.... Sellers: Always use shipping methods that have tracking numbers that you can e-mail right away. And make sure you DO e-mail them right away. Buyers: Make sure you ask for tracking numbers, and ask that they ship with a service that uses tracking numbers. I think doing this avoids a lot of headaches as far as when people shipped items out goes. My 2 cents.

So I've got three of the "5" supposedly planned figures in the Mazinger AD 1901 Steampunk line. So far I see these figures out: Mazinger - Original and Repaint Aflodai - Original and Repaint Garada You need all 5 characters to get the parts necessary to assemble Mazinger's Jet Pack. So where the hell is Boss Borot and Doublas??? Did the project get scrapped? And I also recently saw a figure pack with the current 3 that are out being sold together as a set. Does that include the whole Jet pack set? And if it does... does that mean that Boss Borot and Doublas figures are never coming out? Dammit!

Actually they used velcro on the front box flap. And you're right... they didn't use the velcro for the VF-1J's

Im am fortunate to have a friend who has a NSX and I reluctantly had to drive his S2000 home when he bought it (haha who am I kidding? When he asked if I could drive it home while he takes his NSX I was like SURE THING anything you want!!!!!!) and my dad has a 93 R1 RX7 which I think kicks so much ass. So yeah I am luck that I got to drive them all. Plus my other friend in his WRX now all I need to drive is a Supra, Evo, and Skyline and Im set for life in terms of cars I want to drive before I die. Oh and test drives dotn count. I mean driving to push the limits of one's self and the car's potential. Hmmm Skyline would be nice to drive too. Man too many cars to like and not enough dough. If only I had enough to own a hangar with a line up of performance import cars and some classic import cars..... that would be fun.
