If Yamato had this prototype then it might still be sitting around at Arcadia somewhere.. Sheesh could you imagine this thing in 1/60 scale sitting around on display! I'd definitely sell my car (or even myself!) to raise the funds to buy it! Seeing this brought a tear to my eye!

I never really thought much of the SV-51 fighters but they have grown on me quite a bit lately! I have been thinking a SV-51a would make a nice addition to my lot.. I do like the colors of the cannon fodder type over Nora and Ivanov types..

first Valkyrie or just first Frontier Valkyrie? give it time, you'll get there! I never thought I'd ever get to nearly 40 of em and that's still nothing compared to what some of the other folks have in here!

if it was a Detolf then that's an awesome price at $64ea! Ikea retails them for more than double that at $149 in Australia.. which is a total rip..

yeah I know! Your setup looks boss with the 3 ghosts displayed! If where I got it had 3 available I definitely would've have bought em all.. but I'll see how having just the 1 goes in the meantime. -
hmmm an interesting adaption with the missile pod! shame it doesn't have the same surface detailing to match the 30.. still a nice idea!

One of the YF-30 really nice bits! This is what the 25 & 29 Valks needed as the canopy was just too narrow.. im not a fan of the redesign on the YF-25 canopy either.. not as sleek looking as the other 25 & 29 versions.

yeah he's getting there! He has a few Valks in his collection now but he has a load of other cool non-Macross related stuff too! Lots of Aliens and Godzilla stuff amongst it all..

you're not alone Saburo! I bought my son the original and he loves it! I have the 1.5 version and yes it could have been brought up to VF-25 v2 specs but it's still pretty good. I keep mine in fighter mode so I'm not so fussed with its short comings..

not sure what that stuff is but I have used the 3M (green) Marine tape for the Frontier Valks I've switched to Battroid.. its great stuff! lasts ages and doesn't leave any sticky residue or do damage to surfaces.

What a cool photo! LOL @ the post-it note! yeah same.. I have an Isamu 29 which in my honest opinion has the best paint scheme of the lot! I don't think I'll ever get the others.. They are ok but the shelf heights are too low.. Even if it meant losing one shelf, ideally they needed to be about 3 to 4 inches higher so it would be possible to have the Frontier Valks in battroid mode whilst on the display stand.. but they are wider and deeper than the Detolf shelves. Yeah im quite proud of my little homage to the old Group C & early Group A Australian touring car championship days! Ahhh the memories! Love the Commodores especially the HDT Brocks!
