That YF-19 isnt quite exactly the same. He kitbashed it to make it posable. Having those pictures in the model section might be a bit misleading. Looks great Jesse, cant wait to see more. I think any modeler make modification to the model he built, and the finished product is unique, there isn't just one way to finish a model, a finished model pics just give you an idea how the model may look when finished. Imo adding a note with the modification is sufficent, the external look don't change so much from the fixed-pose version, he did an excellent work in making it posable.

Hello Comparted to tamiya acrylics how much good are the gunze acrylics? Opinions on mr. hobby colors(laquer?)? Can they be used directely on styrene? Are the clear f/sg/g paints good for finishing? Whats the difference beetween mr.color thinner and mr.color leveling thinner? Different brands of sanding papers, what is the best? What are vynil colors? How good are gunze decal setter and softer? The softer is the same thing of micro-sol? Can be the gunze and tamiya acrylics be mixed? I'd like to have many opinions as possible. Thanks

The bandai vf-19 gunpod its wrong if we look at the artwork, do you plan to correct it? I planned to do that with some putty, at least the front section that is completely wrong, i'm curious about what will you do.

More vernier thrusters under the cockpit. In the Ps2 game the vf-1 has two little vernier thrusters at the tips of the wings for space movements.

I would think that the small retro-thrusters located on the sides of the intakes would not be powerful enough to stop the VF-1 in a carrier landing in fighter mode. Of course as others have said, why not just land in Gerwalk mode? Graham They land in Gerwalk mode on Macross in the early episodes, if the transformation was a secret is not very smart make the valks land in gerwalk mode on the carriers. Maybe the vf-17, but any vf-19 waist articulation is anime magic as far I know,. The vf-19 transformation should be basically the same as the yf-19.
