Imo it will be faster sculpt your own YF-19 variable model, Modify a vf-19s/f/c/p into a yf-19 means modify nearly every part, then you may want to modify it to transform cause the bandi 1/100 requires massive part swapping, furthermore the bandai vf-19 is pretty uncorrect. (then sell it in MW ) You can always make it just look like the yf-19 of course.

If this is the problem they can just sell it as a vf-19A, they already made a 1/100 VFX-2 mech and have the license.

The characters in Macross 7 have pretty much the same age of the characters in sfd macross and M0. I don't think its much more adressed to children that SDF macross was, just much more mecha battle super robot style cheesiness that any other macross, stupid director...

The LS yf-19 and IHp sculpt looks pretty much the same but probably they differ in the joints and transformation. The LS differently form the IHP one haven't a lot of exposed screws and it has some clear pieces on the wings roots and nosecone (the clear hybrib sensors are a nice touch, previous yf/vf-19 have poor ones) There is no way you can compare it to a banpresto vf-1, the banpy is much smaller and poorly built with cheap plastic, its so floppy cause it use awful plastic ball joints and fugly "hinges".

try to put a little of white glue on the missile clips and attach them at the wings, then let it cure for 24 hrs, after it remove the missiles, it worked just fine for my RMS.

Oh well, it actually is a toy, We dont know how much is sturdy, basically is a little yf-19 very limited prodution garage toy, a lot of people will want it as low cost mass produced yf-19 toy, its so far the nicer sculpt yf-19 toy. It's probably sturdier that any MPC veritech.

IMO at lest twice the weight of the fastpack set, and the vf-1 with the fps is already pretty heavy and unplayable cause the bad balanced weight, surely is mighter then the Koenig Monster, I just hope It will not tend to fall foward,( we could balance with normal fps anyways ) The shipping cost will kill me. Ps I really hope that the nosecone is optional cause its just ridiculous.

Mr. Color is lacquer based, it will not thin with acrylic or enamel thinner. Mr. Hobby are acrylics.

EHm, gunze mr. surfacer and mr.color are lacquer based, I don't have to paint cars but models and toys. I always spray at low pressure (15 psi or lower) and very close to the object, a mask and a ventilated room will be enough safe?

There is some tipe of Mask that I can use to protect me from the fumes?

IMHO that they just had to do less repetitive episodes just for recycling the stock footage and go farther in the story. Custom civilian valkyrie are okay but a little of fantasy isn't bad, have kawamori drawn them in 10 minutes?(if it was him) vf-19C WOW a red vf-19 with face! I'm amazed! Kawamori is a transformers fan? Vf-17C Stunning! A green double seater vf-17 with an ugly head! Great! Vf-11C Wow a girl that pilot a pink female looking robot, how much time have take to think this? At lest give us cool color schemes and custom features, the vf-11D JB design is far better that any SF valks.

I will go for Macross II, recycled movie/series story at bad IMHO At robotech level. I don't even get way they didn't directely a Movie, it works so bad as an OAV. I agree that the macross7 animation is really bad and silly, too recycled frames, stupid enemies and ugly and semplicistic designs. I don't really get why it should teach to be weak and I disagree about Max and Miria. I have still to watch the last 9 episodes but I prefer It to M2.

I would not paint something that is not dry, Maybe there is some chemical reaction beetwen the material and the enamel paint that really slow the curing.
