As good as T2 but for different reasons. Still not as good as the first but sequels are ALWAYS inferior to the original by definition. T3 was full of suspense, it developed a new character (Mrs. Conner) and added some depth to John's character. Arnold wasn't the father figure that he was in T2, which was refreshing... He was a killing machine again, but he was just fighting for the humans. I thought T2 had its place and fit just right, but I would have been pissed if T3 had a drawn out "I know now why you cry" scene. T3 had the (as Mod Max put it,) The "always running" feeling that T2 lost a little.

Both of those things can be true and the franchaise plot still makes sense.

Must it be an original idea? I mean like could be an adaptation of something? Adaptations are OK. How about we say nothing that's been made into a movie in the past 30 years. I am going to give this some thought... I want to sleep on it. In the meentime you can either read JsARCLIGHT's ideas or possibly drop acid... The results will be the same.

Your probably the only person I've run into who acutaly liked that movie... You and Opus are in the minority here, I liked T3, it wasn't as great as the first, but captured a feeling closer to the first. I thought 2 was a little warm and fuzzy.

Vostok 7 Is Vostok trying to tell us he is actually a she (as in a female porn star) ...

This last trailer made the thing seem kinda interesting. It also made the Predators seem virtually indestructible taking on thousands of aliens... Which would make sense I mean here is the math behind this movie: 1000 Aliens = 1 Predator = NO MATCH FOR SCHWARZENEGGER I think I will see it. Just as long as there is no heavy metal sound track. Maybe I will read a review before going.

It was all part of the Sentinals Arc actually *Cackles* Yep. It was actually supposed to be how The Sentinels ends... that somehow, Hunter and crew end up back in time (probably due to another spacefold mishap), and end up being the progenitors of those we eventually come to know as the Robotech Masters. The Macross Saga would then be shown after The Sentinels' airing, as the logical sequel to The Sentinels, leading to a perpetual syndicated time-loop cycle. Silly, kinda. Unless Ahnuld is somehow involved of course. -Al Dude if HG had done that I would forgive it for all of its sins! That would have been the most kick ass thing ever... Of course it is a TV show and the Terminator franchaise is a set of movies so it still aint the same thing.

What's funny is that this was one of the ideas for Robotech. But it was panned as mostly stupid. =) -Al Were they going to redub Ninja Scroll and say that the main dude was Hunkey Rickie Hunter who had gone back in time?!!?!?! Well, it wouldn't have been as lame as the Sentenels.
