How to come up with Robotech sequel name: 'enter mysterious word here' _ 'chose between: group, team, unit, force, or squad' If I were given these parameters I would have at least come up something creative: ROBOTECH: Stealth Team ROBOTECH: Hiden group ROBOTECH: Mystery Squad ROBOTECH: Mystical Unit

    Also: Zjentohlauedy had no problem destroying any and all other UN Spacy ships, but didn't seem to want to directly hit the Macross... Therefore attaching other ships to the Macross ensnares them in the mystique and fear that the Zjentohlauedy have.

    I am not qualified to comment on how the Japenese view themselves. I always saw anime as a way of not acnoleging race at all. IE everyone is sorta the same.

    My GF and I saw it last night with ewilen and his wife. Awesome movie. The best superhero franchaise so far. I hope they don't screw it up by making too many or swaping out actors. IMO if Tobby or Kirsten can't do it, then forget it.

    I am in the process of hiring some one for a Software Testing/Quality Assurance position. I have received 118 resumes already and they are all SH!T. I swear I don't know where people go to learn to write a resume, but they all suck at it. Would it be ok for a few days to have a thread to discuss this? I would love the opportunity to help some MWers out.

    I think one huge strike against TVM is its affiliation with Robotech. I just get tired of Robotech fans getting confused with the Macross storyline, and sort of imagining that the Protoculture race and the Robotech Masters are like the same dudes... There are other points of confusion but that one chaps my hide.

    Woah! Thanks for the comments on the workprint. Funny thing about A.Now... I totally prefered the Redux because of its slightly disjointed nature. I mean its an insane movie, a movie about a man's mind that is being pulled in many directions. It shouldn't flow well.

    I totally agree with the decent actor. It's just that the SF movie was so awful and SF movie game was even worse. Right. Even the greatest actor can't help a bad movie. Totally true. I mean Universal Soldier was the best, but The Return, was just crap. I just bought the first one at Wal-Mart not too long ago! Wish I could say the same for the SF2 Animated movie. Why Capcom, why? Why allow only the crap dub in the US? Back then subs didn't do well with the kids. Actually I think they still don't. Remember US Marketing only a few years ago tried to target ALL anime at little kids. Thats why we always get pussy poo like Pokemon, but never good poo like Golgo13.

    Do the differences between TV and DYRL versions of Space War I iritate anyone? When I saw DYRL for the first time I thought it was so much better than the TV show. I mean it was like the same thing, just drawn better and with all the goofy-ness taken out (no flying aricraft carriers or stupid color schemes). I also thought it was a better story. My GF was totally frustrated with the change in story though. She found it totally iritating that they would re-tell the story.
