why not have a skin contest for the board. we could set it up in the following categories

1: character based

a max and millia wedding theme or a max theme woudl be an example

2: Mecha based

Any fighter, power armor etc.

3: Ship based

sdf-1, macross 7 eetc zentradi ships.

4: Mix of the above 3 to creat a good balance of elements.

the many stores who get customers can contribute some small things to the pot for prizes. aka import dvds from hk, small cheap figurines etc.

I just spent US$150 for a MIB takatoku VF-1J Hikaru but when it arrived, I noticed it had a matsushiro box instead, great, I fought maybe I found myself a rare item, but when I look into the toy, it is actually a takatoku VF-1J, just felt hard done by, its the wrong toy in the wrong box! i dont think the seller will refund me back either><, anyone know any more about the matsushiro/takatoku difference? Im sure its in the wrong box as the vf-1j has takatoku clearly marked on the toy. I hope someone can help!, otherwise anyone want to but it?? Thank you for reading, please help me!

unless matsushiro did nto lable their toys with their logo. Considerign they wehre the company who did molds for takatoku and put the toys togehter it maek ssicne th eold takatokulable be on them

Th ealpha figther in reality is a legios fighter. it was first introduced in the anime "genisis climber mospeada".

Mospeada alogn with 2 toehr anime, sdc southern cross adn sdf macross where faltered and put togther to get a merged story arch claled "robotech"

alphas. legilos do not exist in macross, howver. they wehre seen animated in 2 tv sereis(mospeada or the new gen arc in robotec, mospeada ova, and the breif run of the sentinals). there wil be a new robotech cartoon to feature this mecha comthign out this year.

there is alos a toy of the alpha comign out in summer/ spring. I woudl highly reocmend buying it form thsi guy as he is very trsutworthy.

As of yet I havent purchased any of the 1/48 scale Macross items.

I do have 4 other Yamato toys, a VF-11B, a VF-1A (Hikaru), a VF-1S (Roy) and the Super VF-1J (1/60)

My 21st birthday is the 28th of february and Im gonna try and persuade my mother to buy me a 1/48 scale valkyrie...what I need to know is, is the 1/48 VF-1J worth it? I love the colour scheme on the VF-1J and love the fastpacks...but I also like the VF-1S, so what would you guys go for?

And as a sad little side note...I got banned for one week over at RT.com....I dont even know why Didnt even get an email...woe is me

like others have asked, how much are the North American releases going for? Didn't know that the N. American releases would be different than the Japanese version,  if the prices are similar I would rather have the takara version.

looks like they are around $60. The Takara go from anywhere from $99 to $130.

awful, awful sculpt. I think it looks fine in battroid but in fighter mode it looks like an old matchbox toy.and 80 bucks?? hehe. I hate the nose and the big bubble cockpit the most. I am sure everyone is thinking the same thing as me: 'I'll get the tread because there is no tread toy out there (the lansay doesn't count because I haven't won the lottery)'. I have to watch it through again.  Tenchi's sister said she was 80!?.  I'm wondering about that too.  It is OVA continuity now not TV, but still, Tenchi's parents met in school I thought.  This new girl would then be Tenchi's half-sister.  Tenchi's father is just human.  Maybe mom decided to act younger and went to school, where she was actually much older.  Kind of like Yosho was doing.  I like that Yosho finally showed Tenchi the old man act was just that.

we never saw how the parents got together in the ova. the moive is in the tv continuity!

yw. and no worries. they hide that sucker pretty well. treat yrou valkyrie carefully. no lot let the backpack go loos or flat. o. let it lie gently on a desk etc. it wil sav eyou lto sof pain. I do that and I get no streess marks wahtsoever.
