    Help with transforming 1/48

    Sorry to post this but I just got a 1/48 vf-1s (reissue I think since there are no velcro tabs on the front cover???) anyways it didn't come with any instructions and I'm clueless as to how to transform it anyone have steps that I can follow to change it from fighter mode to battloid mode (where it will stay permenantly).

    it;s under the paper/ carboard box that holds the valkyrie. in between it and the outside cover. your stickersheets etc are there too

    Stargate SG1

    Window of Opportunity is the BEST episode of SG-1 that I've seen, and I've seen 'em all. It's enjoyable because the actors were having a blast and you could see it in the way they played their characters.

    As for the movie, it's a rumour that's been circulating for some time now, about SG-1 making a feature film while working on the TV series, much as X-Files did.

    1/48 Backpack hinge stress relief?

    Has anyone tried filing or sanding a little off of the bump (part BP7) on the backpack hinge? I just took my VF-1S out of the box and don't want to be posting in the "what's wrong with my Yamato" thread, if you know what I mean. It seems like this hump puts a lot of stress on the hinge, so is it a good idea to take some material off of the bump?

    honestly me and jason(JsARCLIGHT) both have never had this problem. all of them are stress free. i checke dmien when thiis came up. you need to handle your valkyries delicatly. honeslty. it;s nto hard. be patient.

    Not being very big on watching TV, I happened upon this show one night a month ago. I can't believe no one has mentioned this show here before that I can remember.

    This is great on so many levels. I just wish I had started watching earlier. The movie was okay, but the series itself is a gem. It's funny and original... well sometimes. The characters are likeable except for Jackson (I dislike his dweeb character) and the special effects are great... well most of the time. Carter is a hottie. The story is engaging with very few stupid eps. Man if more TV was like this I would watch more. I often get so disgusted with the shows out there.

    just intrested in what you guys think. though i preffer just simple valks with no stuff on them, i have to admit the GBP(?) armor does look pretty damn cool.

    lets assume that the 1/48 WILL NOT get armor. would you rather get a 1/60 with armor or a 1/48 with no armor (assume they'd be about the same price)

    1/48 is the way to go. I only have 3, sicne i only bought essentials. I have 4 1/60's. I like them boht

    Yes... i hope that the blue on the Max will be darker on the final release

    I wouldn't sweat the color too much yet. We've seen time and time again what digital photography and post-processing can do to the colors of our beloved valks. Remember when the first pictures of the 1/48 FAST Packs looked like they were baby-blue?

    Man oh man.... you guys who like the 1J are gonna have your wallets raped. :p

    Good thing that the 1J is my least favorite model, or I'd be crying right along with everyone else!

    not relaly. I liek th e1j and I got hikarus's. I am happy with that. $400 is too much to pay for somthign you can get in 1/60 for aroudn 120 at soem palces. if not less.

    Okay here is the deal. I currently use Windows XP Japan version. I hate it, can't read half the Kanji :angry:

    I just got an English version Xp. Now here is the question. Since I already have XP and basically want to re-install the same version can I just pop in the disc and install? Or do i have to uninstall the current XP and re-install . Or will I loose everything?

    Advise please!

    BTW, how did you get yours to stand up straight with the armor on? The armor seemed to heavy and the only way I could get mine to stand up straight was to lean it against something. Here's how I was "forced" by gravity to pose mine:

    you can PULL the feet out which maek ti more stable. sicne it opens wider. from your picture it seems they are in fiter mode jsut extended.

    The Bronco II is hero Kei's fighter in Orguss, the alien Emaan create the Orguss itself from the Bronco's wreckage after it crashes.

    I have the 1/48 version from Arii, although it is in need of a repaint, I built it more than 15 years ago and my skillz have improved a bit since then.

    could you put it next to a 1/48 valkyrie for comparisons?

    Yep, that is 1/48

    The dragon mode is loooonggggg!!!!

    The first transformation took me over 40 mins to transform, compare to 10 mins to transform Yammi Valk w/ Japanese instruction booklete. However, after transformation. I can't say enough, it is "Amazing" :o:o:o:o .

    Since, I own mostly Macross, Gundam, Mazinger, and three tranformers, I might be overly suprised at this item. However, I give new respect to Yamato for its Escawflowne. It is amazing....

    did you notice how muhc a pain certian parts wehre. like putting it on it;s stand. I had to remove the legs to put them firmly on the stand then reattache the bodey to it.

    it is a LONg toy. even when th edragon is fully purched. if you lay it down flat i;s alot longer.

    I have it on my monitor now. it look s awsome.

    Macross nintendo game used.....

    This may be old to some but I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I was at the mall today and there was a stand for those Nintendo controllers and light gun that just use AV jacks. The games are set up in the controller so all you do is plug and play with 76 games. Among Duck Hunt, Mario bros., Galaga and more was Macross.

    I just had to play it when I saw it in the menu. Minmei came out and rang the gong and I was triple changing all over the place. Very outdated but still I almost broke down and bought one just for that, I think they were being sold for 50 dollars.

    Anyway just FYI!

    If it's the US version, does it come with English language instructions?

    From what Toycom mentioned, the Japan and US versions ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. He even said it is likely from the same production run.

    I think Graham's trying to ask if the Escaflowne's you're selling is a domestic Toycom, or an Imported Yamato (Cause he wants directions in English.) Forgive me if it's not the case, Graham

    he knows. if it;s the saem production run and is the same it means the isntructiosn are bilingual. The enterprise model form bandai was. ithad both japense and english instructions.
