  1. I own a lot of power tools for all sorts of construction projects and I can honestly tell you that B&D are crap in terms of quality. I've had a Dremel for years and haven't had any problems with it. I've had problems with every B&D tool I've owned, even their supposed high end tools like Dewalt suck. The motor on my 800 dollar Dewalt chop saw burned out after about 90 days of use.
  2. Cool that's the first pic of a built cat's eye that I've seen. You have to show us how you built it and filled in the big gaps.
  3. If you don't like water decals then you're probably not an experienced model builder. Any model I've ever built had water slide decals. Peel and stick are for toys.
  4. The ones that come with the VF-2SS I don't think are 1/72 though, they look out of scale to me compared to the fighter.
  5. When I was a kid back in the early 80's I bought a huge package that had all the Voltron cats in die-cast and a giant slew of chrome weapons. Do you think it's worth a whole lot nowadays?
  6. Yeah I couldn't decide on the armor or the booster so I went for the armor, but the booster would be great too. The Monster that Monkey Nuggett did isn't the Konig version and it's really not that detailed, it's gonna take a lot of work to make it look right.
  7. Yeah what's with all the 5000 requests? Which film is that one from?
  8. Yeah that guy's the Friggin' Master
  9. Yeah, Holy crap I thought it was real for a second, nice one man. Would it help you if I scanned in my decal sheet for you from my 1/72 kit?
  10. Wow you sure have been busy building. They all look really well done, just like the picture one the sides of the box. Thanks for sharing.
  11. I think your best bet would be to carefully cut them apart. The reason being is that the glue is designed to chemically melt the plastic together. If you glued it really well you essentally now have one piece of plastic.
  12. WOW, that sounds like a really nice customization of a TOY!!! Can't wait to see it.
  13. Heh, yeah sounds just like a regular model, Is there really only 20 of those Phalanx's?
  14. FYI the 1D versions of these are back in stock at Rainbow 10. The manufacturer says Birdman on their site.
  15. Nope, hey man a toy is a toy and a model is a model. Bust out the glue and paint and get crackin'
  16. Geez I have a bunch of em, here's a list: Lancer II Fan Liner Fan Racer 1/72 Legios & Tread Cat's Eye Recon VF-4G Lightning III Fighter VF-11 VF-2SS Destroid Phalanx Queadluun-Rau This would be my first resin kit so I thought I would start with something simple like the Lancer II.
  17. Hey thanks guys for all the nice comments, now I gotta decide what to build next. Dare I build one of my rare resin kits?
  18. Hey that's as many as me, you should post a pic of them all lined up.
  19. Hey Valkyrie, how many valks have you built?
  20. So what does everyone think of the panel shading on that build? I haven't decided if it's too much and if I'd like it better with a cleaner look.
  21. It'd be cool if you could rig it to be removable
  22. Thanks for the pics man, that ought to tide me over till mine comes in the mail. I'm looking forward to how creative people will get with the paint schemes in the future.
  23. Last pic, the ever increasing force of arms
