    Best advice I can give you is Collect what really turns you on. Don't try to buy every valk under the sun. Also, be patient. Good deals are out there if you work for them. And have deep pockets! haha

    The fighters are technically 1/60 scale. But the robot mode scale is all off. That back fin isn't on the other seeker is it? did they bulk up the legs or something?

    Can't decide if I love acid storm.. or I think he's the ugliest thing I've ever seen... Are his legs chunkier than other versions or is it just me? Gotta agree on Metroplex. It just screams cheap to me. The Takara version is a little better, but the Alt Modes just look like crap. Not worth the space it would take up.

It's cool that Kawamori did them.. and the plane mode is awesome in terms of realism, but the Robot mode leaves a lot to be desired. The legs are the worst part. You can't really get a good A stance out of them, and the feet are just too small and poorly designed to hold up all the weight. I also don't like all the wing sections hanging around the hip. And yeah, the chest is a little odd. Also, the scale is a bit off. They shouldn't be bigger than, or the same height as prime. I much prefer my Generations seekers. I enjoy posing them all the time and get some really cool action poses out of two I have. I hope they rework them at some point and bring them into true MP scale. I'll probably keep my Skywarp for plane accuracy, but yeah. The TRU version are really terrible. They looks so cheap with the plain jane paint jobs they have.

    That's cool and all, but MP-10 is a recreation of the original G1, not the power master. And I don't dig on beast wars... no clue what dreamwave is. haha I've got the original G1 Galvatron (with working lights and sound! ) on my nightstand. I've had him for 25+ years. He is gray and purple (darkish blue purple?) with some silver chrome and reddish orange accents. As for Hasbro's MP-10, when you get into those super light color plastics like that they just look cheap, even if they aren't. Kind of like the Yamato Fire Valk that looks like a clown. The light blue legs and super light gray plastic just didn't do it for me. And yeah the trailor makes a world of difference. It also reminds me of the original toy and many memories as a child. In short, dark eyes aren't enough for me to wish I had the Hasbro version. One is a recreation masterpiece with accurate colors, and one is a repaint with non-accurate colors, even if the eyes look a little better. But that doesn't mean the Hasbro sucks. Some people prefer the cartoon colors, and hey, something else to collect. Also, from a collectable standpoint the Takara version generally holds its value and commands a higher price. As a collector I want a really nice box and packaging. The Hasbro Packaging is a low level torture device and a real pain to store. I like the Cartoon. I'm even rewatching it, but the Cartoon was made to advertise the toys. To me, the original G1 Toys are Canon. And that's all I gotta say about that. haha. I mean, we're all here for the toys.

    I would like this valk if it didn't have the nose cone chest. Something about that really makes me dislike the design. I guess there are only so many ways you can make a Jet turn into a robot, and eventually you gotta have the pointy nose chest. haha But that said, the new developments are impressive. I hope they keep redesigning all the old stuff. Half the reason I collect toys now is the engineering and design. It's like artwork you can interact with.

    Yeah I had the original and the Dark blue was the best. I hear a lot of people had a hard time getting the original or something, and their first prime was the power masters version. Anyway, his eyes SHOULD be yellow, so neither are that correct, but it doesn't bother me much.

    I like Soda water over Tonic. The Tonic sugar masks the taste in my opinion.

    I prefer a nice clear Gin with soda water and Lime. Also known as a Gin Rickey, especially during the summer. Beefeater and Hendricks are my favorite. I also like a nice Whiskey. Basil Hayden's is really good, or just some Knob Creek Neat. With beer I prefer premium Lagers. You?

    Silver paint. Plus the silver in the dark blue for all the seats, and in the cockpit. Looks much better imo. And roller is different colors of course. Maybe the stacks are the same. The Hasbro light blue just looks cheap and cartoony. Kind of like the bright red on the fire valk. haha. The Dark blue reminds me of the Toy I used to hold as a child.

    I like everything about the Takara. That dark blue! The pointer longer smoke stacks, and the extra deco and silver color in the trailer. and the box and booklet! oh god the box! The legs seem a lot stiffer on this one over my Hasbro version too. Not sure why but they felt loose out of the box.

    Got a Takara MP-10 Today. Found a good deal on it and sold my Hasbro MP-10 (because Hasbro's releases suck). Pretty excited.
