yeah. Id rather support the source of my habbit than pay a retail outlet for the yamato box. If these don't sell well we won't see the really good stuff. I imagine they are doing the v1s to fund projects and genrate cash flow. Plus the demand is there.

The base does look a little big.. but it looks like it rotates at the top, which is nice.

Never bought from AmiAmi before. Do you have problems with them as far as packaging goes? I've never read that anybody had issues.

From the way you posted it, it sounded like you wanted to know if you should get one first thing, since you didn't want to lug it around. But if you only went for one day, yeah I heard the stock ran out fast. I heard a lot of conflicting reports. Some were saying limits of 4. Others were saying limits of one per badge. I also heard they gave out a bunch for retailers to re-sell, and then raffled off the rest. Crazy scene. Needless to say it's sold out everywhere and it's going to be a fun few weeks haha -

Yeah.. too good to be true. I think the guy is going to cancel it for me. I'm gonna pay him a little cash for the trouble. I'm officially a jackass. haha. He didn't have it listed and I didn't know they made a Milia V1.

There was a guy on the Buy Sell Trade (BST) forum selling a Millia last week or so for $300. I messaged him and posted like 3 minute later... maybe sooner? He finally responded a day later and said somebody beat me to it. Never said who, or how much. Anyway, the other guy was on ebay and had it up for $110. I asked him how much he wanted and he said make an offer. I offered him $150 and he took it. Hah!

I think that's part of the reason yamato went out of business. I think the "chogokin" or diecast content is pretty close. and getting a cheap stand is worth 10-20 bucks imo. Considering the yamato stands were going for 100 bucks at one point. I think with the size of macross collecting warrents the hike. it's still a fairly small niche in the grand scheme of things. Also, I just check - the 30th anniversary is still up for sale. Not a good sign. haha

Nice stuff man! My latest buy: I got a 1/60 Millia with super packs + a yamato stand for $150 shipped! I'm glad that guy on the BST forum shafted me for the $300 haha

Got one $140 bucks is a good deal with a stand IMO. Plus is brand spanking new.

Like I said in another thread, the 30th was suppose to be 160 but you could pre-order it for 130 all over. Also, they haven't officially announced any extras. I like that stand though. Looks nice.

Yeah, I agree. Frank Miller wrote the book on Batman vs Superman. But Zack has experience working with Frank.. so maybe he'll get some input.
