    Right, and nobody talks about third party licensed figures. Ever. They say, This company is doing this (officially), or they say, this third party is doing this. Otherwise we'd have 3 threads. One for Takara, one for "third party official" and one for "Third party unofficial".

    Yeah, I mean technically and legally it may be true - but no company or collector refers to it as such, and thus it's not really part of the language. Third party means unofficial in like every collectors vocabulary. And I'm willing to bet that Sentinel wouldn't market it as a 3rd party anything haha.

    I guess, but I've never heard a company refer to themselves as releasing a lisensed third party product. Everybody knows it's associated with fan projects or whatever.

    Quick question... has anybody ever heard of licensed third party toys before? This guy is insisting that Sentinal Skorponoak is a licensed "third party", and that Hasbro/Takara is the first party. Never heard that before.

    Well, lets see... Keanu is chosen one who can do things everybody else can't, for some reason. (Until the sequel and the invent a foil) And a small group of likeable semi-rebels facing impossible odds, who somehow win out anyway. Lots of short hand references to Gladiator and 300. Throw in some cheap crappy romance for good measure. I think the most interesting aspect here is the fantasy creatures, which could make or break things. If the CGI is top-shelf It will be fun. I'll probably catch it on video.

    I don't think it's up yet anywhere. Yeah, I'd love a more 80's comic accurate suit, but I'll take what I can get. Plus the diecast parts and improvements. I'd really just like the thigh to be all silver. After all the Iron Man's that they have churned out they must have it down to a science, so it seems like a good place to jump into the fray for me.

    NY sends out the cancellation notice automatically at a certain time. You can probably email them and still get it.

    It should wipe a lot off as he pulls it out, or flings his claws around. Or as it retracts into the housing it would scrub some off. Pretty sure adamantine is stainless! haha. Anyway... the point is, his claws should be wrecking people, cutting off limbs, and shattering bones. It looks like he's just playing tag most of the time.

    Well it's just a video game and their are only so many ways to draw robots. Votoms has been around.. 30 years Kinda bummed that their won't be any new votoms stuff from wonder fest. I was hoping something would fly in under the radar.

    Cool thing about those getters is they transform into dinos. Instantly more awesome. Seems weird to make giant costly tranformers that don't transform. Not that fort max or even that new metroplex look impressive transformed.. they usually look like the robot mode laying or sitting down with its head tucked in...still I wonder how successful it would be. I bet that fewture optimus prime won't do well here. Transformers fans in the states are chep bastards.

    SRC's are kind of a gimmick. They cost $60-70 and then you have to pay another $70 bucks for the upgrade pack that's coming 6 months later. Full SOC price with not as much diecast. haha. Don't get me wrong, I like my SRC Gunbuster a lot. He's fun to handle, but I'd rather just have an SOC.

    That seems cheap to me. The Aoshima black getter is about $100-120 and it's fairly outdated and cheap. The SOC getters are also $100-140 depending on where you look.

    Pretty sure companies sell blank 1/6th dolls for kit bashes. It's pretty popular.
