Cosmetics/Design drawbacks : Arcadia : 1) Space between lower & upper leg (knee) in fighter mode. There's a black slider to cover it from BOTTOM view, but SIDE views remain bare. 2) Thick space above the intake (but I dont mind). 3) Very minimal tampo prints. Bandai : 1) Gaps between shield & legs in fighter mode (TOP view). 2) Cheap-looking, unpainted landing gears. 3) More complex to transform than Arcadia (from online videos).

Nice seeing you back. I too just came back to Macross collecting few years back, slightly after Yamato's demise. Luckily got most what I ever wanted, since I only owned 1/48's VF-1, Koenig & 1/60 19, prior to ditching the hobby in 2008. I prefer Arcadia for the aesthetics and ease of transformation. Having owned Yamato's 19 makes the Arcadia a breeze to transform. And slenderness of fighter mode & bulkiness of battroid mode. Like those "yin-yang" stuff, but in plastics : *wished Arcadia is more adventurouse to release different fan-customs 19-schemes (no, not the M7 stuff)*

when the 2nd episode airs I'll be like ... "please transform, please transform, please transform.." seeing how Delta is a girly, dancy, singy show, my last string of hope to keep me watching sailormoo...err Delta will be the SV-262 and its pilots.

IBO? yeah watched it but didt like the story line. kinda childish IMO, esp with the Yakuza ceremony & what-not. I appreciate the likes of MS 8th Team, Sidonia, etc. but certainly not sailormoo...err Delta stay on topic and stop picking on others who dont like the series. kajnrig seems to have a bad taste then OK, off topic. Stay on topic guys. I was just addressing my personal thoughts on sailormoo...err Delta. -

Guess most of us oldies (I'm in my early 30's, not sure if that's 'old' relative to the Macross community ) could still tolerate Frontier, despite all the hologram girls in battle scenes (Zero/Plus had it but Frontier was more prevalent)...but wardrobe-changing-sailormoons? really? Delta is pushing it, ... way over the top for me. The episode wasnt too bad, not until the sailormoon scenes. You guys discussing about Sidonia made me realized I had forgotten to watch the 2nd season, despite watching the 1st episode when it aired! Gotta catch up with that (tho the manga has also ended). This may sound out of place, but all in all, I am glad Gundam Thunderbolt made its apprearance (manga was good), right when all hope is lost for a gritty, good story-line & characters building, mecha anime. And the fact that I forgot to watch Knights of Sidonia Season 2. -

me neither. maybe the original series that I saw as a kid did not have so much moe & songs ... I was attracted mostly with the mechanical designs & storyline. but hey, lets stick to the topic shall we?
