the pics shown look identical to the professionally built up resin ones i have seen, though Max Factory has always been good in my book with paintjobs so i look forward to seeing this. as for baseing it on the resin kit, maybe they did. i have seen a officially released FF X Yuna PVC that is identical to a resin kit that has been around for quite some time as well. so it is very possible. chris

i like the original color better, but i wish it could be done in the skimpier version, Was this just released by Max factory???? i have seen this resin kit recast for years now, whats up with that???

quality of recast varies from the people making it, if you find one for sale you will have to ask them what the quality is. you may find some that are perfect you may find some that need major work in order to look nice, keep in mind that recasts will need to be painted because they are made of resin. try ebay and the Macrossworld Wanted section (just post a thread asking if anyone has a original or recast and is willing to sell) sometimes you can find the parts you need, transformer parts are always up on ebay, you may have to buy parts seperatly (arm parts from one auction gun from another) but i am sure you will find what you need chris

here is the pic of the GBP armor these are very cool to the original can fetch over $200.00 for the 1/55 i believe there is a recast i think that arafat used to have them naturally

because you are looking for red armor which is usually only found on the 1/55 scale Jetfire from transformers. some times on this site Transformers are simply called trannys yea i think there is a recast for the GBP i am pretty certain i saw one. the GBP armor is another set of armor for the valks, let me see if i can find a pic of one. chris

do you mean for the 1/55 scale GBP armor? you have to mention what toy and scale for us to be able to truly help you. the armor for the bandai is old and has not been reissued, if you want one you can try ebay sometimes they come up but they cost alot. I think there is a recast on this board but i cannot remember. or if you mean the super strike packs ditto as above some times you can find them loose on ebay and this site, and i believe there is a recast for those to. bandai did reissue them but you have to buy the full VF-1S to get them. chris

actually the flight pack looks good if you changed the color alittle added alittle orange to it, it would probably look alot better

if you ask most people on this site it seems like everything is wrong with them quality the skulpt, even the price, some of them are so expensive now you can buy 2, 1/48 yamatos for the same price (which are twice the size and quality. ) i had the Roy one alittle while back (i have already sold it) i never took it out of the box and it was on the shelf i looked at the toy through the front of the box and just did not like the way it looked, i have the 1/48's and they are nice to both look at and play around with , they are far more worth the money. the Toynamis Alphas are nice however but they can be fragile so be careful when handling those, if you get one. chris

the master pieces suck horribly, so avoid those at all cost. what size yamato do you have? I am assuming it is the 1/60? the 1/48's are the best alittle expensive but they look great in fighter mode and are not floppy at all, if you are going to spend hard earned cash you might as well get the best on the market .as for the Yf-19 yes it does exist it is based on a video game version. by the way welcome to macrossworld chris

i can see this year is going to suck for macross fans, heck even your sigs say that. but i fear not, at some time i am sure we will see a resurgence of stuff. as for a slowing down of merchandise and intrest, it has happened before i think and i am sure it will happen again, but there will always be fans and always be something new at some point. i look forward to seeing those scans. by the way any really nice gundam MG or GFF stuff? thanks chris
