    I've always been wondering, why the 5000 designation? It seems pretty out of place when every other valk's designation is in sequential order.

    Was walking around a local mall and there was this shop selling Lego, and for some odd reason, it had a 1:1 menacing T-800 endoskeleton on display in front of the store. It was HUGE and very real looking cept its eyes aren't glowing and there were some cables that didn't seem to be attached properly. It had a 40 watt plasma cannon. It made me realise how HUEEGGG the T-600s are going to be because the T-800 itself was a 6 footer and was pretty huge despite how deceptively small it looks comparatively to the earlier models in that comparison chart.

    That whole PV and it doesn't have what the movie purportedly promises. More Klan. Well at least i see new animations.

    Episode 7. This anime is really giving me tonnes of hot blood. "Naked Aquarion scenes" are pretty and shiny too. Ahh...Bianca and Kate....it has names. Although rules are there for a reason....to reduce self injury and collateral damage to the city? But its cool that next ep preview they are goin on a roadtrip to another town. I was thinking that that city was the only city on the planet. Guess they can go Basquash! touring now!

    I don't know...i was closely following the developments for Unicorn and the animation shorts was definately new material to me. Some "reliable" dude on 2chan mentioned few days ago that Unicorn TV series is slated for release by winter 2009. No official news yet. http://2chan.us/linkblog/2009/05/16/2chgun...-on-tbs-others/

    I was reading a newspaper interview with the production designer of TS, and i found it interesting that the HK flyers have a name, Aerostat.

    Needed myself some romance fix, so i started Lovely Complex. Production values are quite low but i love it. Romance school comedy involving kansai-ben speaking characters.....i can't help but LOL-ing everytime. Its pretty sweet too. Damn i'm getting old.

    Point duly noted about Gundam merchandising though. But consider that Gundam has been around since 1981 and has a coupla sequels up its sleeve whereas EVA has a TV series that started at 1997 which is more recent, thus the more common perception that EVA is solely milking a cash cow because its more obvious.

    I can tell you're attempting sarcasm here, but thinking back, Gundam had condoms didn't they? Not sure if Eva had those but if they did, it had to look like an entry plug.

    I am not a consumer of products of this "Pokemon" that you mention thus I have no idea of the "crap" its producing. It troubles me that you are part of the target audience though. In all seriousness though, Pokemon is selling toys to kids that have less purchasing power than young adults and i really have no idea on how its milking is comparable to Eva. But till the day I see another anime's IP (other than EVA's) being used in everything from canned coffee to pachinko machines, I daresay nothing comes close to EVA.

    HHAHHAA! Good one. Now it needs more nipples, a** shots and pantsu. There's a difference. Bandai has to make new series to sell more toys. EVA doesn't need no new series. Its just being milked from a single TV series (and now a movie) and the milking doesn't look like its slowing down anytime soon.

    Started watching Sengoku Basara. Based on a capcom game, the anime is all types of crazy OTT GAR and action. Abit annoyed by the OTT-ness but i think its worth a watch. And again Oda Nobunaga is the evil villain. Is there any reason why he's depicted as some evil devil lord in fiction?

    Eden of the East ep 6? Pretty cool. Eden seems to be like googlemaps mk2 and the club ran into abit of trouble claiming it as their own. Is it me or does the show seem to be championing NEETs as useful members of Japanese society? And oh dear, I feel afraid for Ohsugi's Johnny.

    I already have all games so i dun think i need this? And yeah i do like Tactics despite what ppl say about it. I thought it was pretty cool that the BOS went rogue and in one of the endings accepted mutants and numbered much more than the original BOS. Guess the rogue BOS idea was recycled in FO3 as Outcasts.
