No one has coined it yet but i'd like to call characters like Kagamin and Mio as Tsukkomi-ko...or tsukkomi girl. They will be the ones who always lash out at the stupidity of the "boke" (idiot), which in K-on would be Ritsu. Konata isn't quite boke material but i guess she could be considered. Tsundere i'd reserve more for those who antagonise you but slowly grow to like you, like Makoto. Kanon's pretty awesome, if you can get over the moe that most ppl here seem adverse to. I can't remember if they included it in the 2006 version (the one you watched) where Ayu bumps into Shiori and there was a paper cutter that fell off her bag. I highly recommend Air and Clannad after Kanon if your heart can take it.

ZOE 3 please. Level designs aren't the most complicated so i wonder why can't they make a longer game out of it.

Episode 4 of K-ON....they just upped the moe level on Mio.

Most of the movie is reused animation and shortened scenes from the tv series. The final 30 minutes are all new animation though, and will be a real treat to the fans. Best part of the new animation?

Valkyria Chronicles DLC: Completed all 4 Selvaria missions including the covert ops one. Now on to Edy's Detachment. It was kind of annoying for me so this is my advice to ppl who's going to play the Selvaria DLC. - In your 1st play, make sure you complete both missions with "A" rank. The 1st one is abit tough to get the A rank, so try not to use too much CPs for your grunt units. Use as much as possible for Selvaria and Johann. If you capture the main camp before 4 turns, you will get the A rank. - 2nd mission is straight forward so you should easily get an A for it. You will unlock the Ruhm machine gun for the main story. - In your 2nd play, you have to approach the 1st mission differently. Do not worry about getting A rank as it will be impossible. Use as much CPs as you can for your grunt units this time, and send them taking over enemy camps and ultimately defeating Damon. This will unlock a new mission after you complete the 1st one. Finally complete the level by using selvaria and Johann as u did with the 1st playthrough. Do not worry if your rank is low this time as your A rank from 1st playthrough will be kept. - If you destroyed Damon's tank, a new mission is unlocked "Silencing the Artillery" which is not very different from the 1st playthrough's 2nd level. Make sure you get an A rank for this level. - After your 2nd playthrough and assuming you got all A ranks for all 3 missions, a new map will be unlocked in the EXTRAs section of Selvaria's DLC. The new mission allows you to use Selvaria in Valkyria form. Enjoy.

I understand your position. But for myself i wouldn't care since the "fanservice" is totally kiddy and used for funny effects. I doubt a few naked shots and boob bounceage will make children become delinquents. I mean anime has been doing it for years. All the magical girl shows have the naked-transformation-scene. Boobs have played many roles in anime which even includes boob missiles , overly huge busts that bounce everywhere for comedic effect. I guess i'm just saying this is nothing new, and i've been brought up with this kinda stuff so i don't really feel the big deal with it.

26 apparently. Episode 3: I'm quite unhappy on how the battle for Vasel was glossed over from the game. They should have spent episode 3 more on character development and the battle take at least 15 minutes in the next episode. Ep 3 felt contrived. Super tank go around shooting other tanks (like a gundam) and footsoldiers giving the impression the enemy is surrounded and they decide to retreat. Gallians win. The game's more epic. More epic than the anime's episode 3 by far. And wtf all the other squad mates in this episode are like cardboard stand-ins. But Alicia gets some classic moments again this ep. In game news....i finished the game yesterday...and i liked the epilogue overall. But the final 2 deaths made me feel "err...why did he have to do that?" Th

Finished Rideback. What the heck just happened in Rideback? From what i gathered: 1.) Rin is an andrenaline junky/fetishist....and she wants to get the same "thrill" she gets from dancing ballet. Not quite the best way to paint a picture but that's what i get by the end of the series. 2.) Random death of that girl....wth? She just died and everyone accepts it. No inquiries. No protests against police brutality. Nada? 3.) The whole arc about Hesner Inc and the GGP flew over my head. What just happened? GGP Japan was corrupted , romanov and his cronies decide to bring in the white riders as he will benefit some money from it? 4.) Finally....government passed back to Japan with GGP playing no role in its politics? I don't get it. Ravenhawk, somebody, please explain to me what just happened. But generally i know the series is more to explore Rin letting go of her past regrets...but still....

I liked it too. There was a whole load of b*tchin during when the OVAs were still being released but i think most ppl accepted it by the end. KnK is not bad...has some major budget under it. If you can forgive its "cod philosophy" that they often spew throughout the series, then its not a bad watch.

Depends what you mean by "hard". But based on your examples, then i would say it is hard (to me, not really), though i wonder if I should trust your boss' information that most americans don't like to think in their games and prefer arcadey schmups. There are alot of JRPG imported into the US and Final Fantasy is well received there so I don't think the idea that americans like simpler games is right.

Episode 2....the legend is in debt. I'm really impressed by the CG and the art for this show. Studio Satelight keeps 1 upping their previous work.

Didn't know about the OVA. Prequel or Sequel? As for Burst Angel, i felt its one of the cookie cutter Gonzo series. I watched it, not very impressed by it, and can't say it sucked either. I'm quite indifferent to it. I remember when the show was about to air, they marketed it with the taglines "MECHA! 3DCG! GIRLS! ACTION!" in the trailer....which i felt kind of insulted the target audience. Oh and i didn't like the mecha's design.

That's a shame. Actually now i'm up till ep 6, and already getting tired of watching "emo-robot of the week". Really? That's a shame. You were such a avid fan of Rideback and Viper's Creed. I haven't started VC and waiting for Frostii's Rideback before continuing on.
