  1. Well look at it this way. In MW, we are the most knowledgable of all things sci fi and anything under the sun.
  2. Don't mean to spoil but.....
  3. Its most probably bootleg copy. There are no region one DVDs or official subs for Macross 7.
  4. The Yamato one is better. Hasegawa's is way too slim. Even the original lineart shows the GBP to be extra chunky with extra big Mickey Mouse hands.
  5. Dangard Ace: About your part, try to get 100% survival rate. I did...took me awhile though. Wheeee!
  6. Robotech Battlecry Custom? I can't even remember his callsign.
  7. Nope....2 starts out with u in a crap mining mech...and stumbling on Uber mech JEHUTY.... So i guess you played 1, which i didn't. But I saw the special long trailer for it in the ZOE2 disc...and it looks as decent as ZOE2. ZOE2 is a damn kickass game....but not many ppl talk about it...probably underrated. OT: are all american dubs done by this one guy...whathisname...David Haytes? I seem to keep hearing his voice in every other Jap game ported to US from MGS, to ZOE2 to Devil may Cry....
  8. I know the feeling.....
  9. Got pics of that Rei you speak of? Its the one lying down on the floor wearing a black purple evening dress. I think these are posted before back....but i think this is the only SEGA prize set i'm getting. The number of this figures coming out is crazy....have to narrow it down even though all of them are pretty good.
  10. Does that mean they glow? I'm planning to get the gothic lolita version too. Hope that Goth Rei gets made as well....as it will go well with the asuka. Weird that there's no Rei version from Kotobukiya.
  11. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN932865 Hmmmmm......so let's see.... GFF has been described as follows: "THE FIX SERIES WAS BASED ON THE GUNDAM MECHANICAL DESIGNS BY MR. HAJIME KATOKI", thus making these releases "Ver. Ka" already, right? So what would this release actually be, an RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. Ka² or even better.....an RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. Ka Ka!?!? That's what i'm wondering about as well....
  12. After graduation, i totally forgot my math....and i'm a programmer. Who says you need good math to be a programmer? I ought to kill him....
  13. All points there for episode 25...nothing else to add...except maybe the intro... Smiling Neo/Mwu with scar...wtf... Really liking underwear clad cagali looking at Athrun walking away (hmmmm)
  14. Ah, but everybody knows her panties are actually dark blue, not blue and white stripes. Graham I guess it wouldn't be obvoius if it was dark blue but...ROTFLMAO!! Love that 2chan pic.
  15. Like a human sidestepping or by pivoting the torso to face one way and the legs another? Kinda of irrelevent you have to take into account the turret, which will keep track of the mech regardless of direction it is moving in. I've been away of this thread for some time i see. To answer your question a on the 1s page , mislovrit, it was the scene in afganistan (was it? or one of the other stans) when the Raiden armours made an appearance. The UN tanks couldn't hit any of them. And by the time they were close enough for CQB, the tanks were just sitting ducks. Maneuverability issues....its not hard to imagine really. Imagine a person with a gun running up to you, you're in a wheelchair, and someone's on your shoulders holding a gun. 1stly, the person has total freedom of movement and control for his legs and his aiming, able to compensate for either. Whereas you, only control the movement of your wheelchair, which as it is has limited movement (unable to sidestep) and you need to rely on your "gunner", both unable to compensate for each other. I'm no military techy, but i guess there are computers and electronics that compensate for movement and aiming....but again, the guy running up to you can sidestep, dodge, jump, crawl, crouch etc and a million other things to dodge your fire. You have a guy who has to fire a cannon on top of you and how you move also affects his fire. The guy running up to you can pivot his gun, and move at the same time....pretty much like Quake 3 mouse + keyboard. Call gasaraki anime magic, but it did make sense to me. Its just that today's technology doesn't allow for such agile movements for mecha. They're still too clumsy.
  16. No screencaps..... Another animation error.... when Roy is refuelling, the refuelling plane blows up and drops the gunpod. As Roy dives to catch the gunpod, from fighter mode, the hands come up to catch it, without the legs coming out 1st beforehand. This is impossible for the VF-0 or even the VF-1.
  17. Woah...that's nice.
  18. Yeap. I was annoyed over this as well. THe figure is just a floppy mess and the rifle looks oversized and can't be held by her.
  19. I like the kitbash on the top of the page. Minor nitpick...that's a YF-21 head, not a VF-22s. Any bigger pics of the other modes?
  20. Nope, no typo - that was the original name for the valks, when Macross was slated to be a parody of MS Gundam. They flew out of the "breast" of the Macross, hence the name. Check your history boy! tsk tsk...and it was stated on the archive as well.
  21. Love the variable Spartan...and what you did with those hands. They look like they can pierce armour. Variability of the Spartan probably increases its mobility (fighter mode) and dexterity (gerwalk mode). Gerwalk suffers from less efficacy of close combat, but is able to hover and jump around punching things while dodging their blows. But a better close combat weapon better than fists should complement it...maybe power fists or heat claws or something.
  22. Just seen it.....haha One word describes the whole show.... *Kimochiii~~~* Love the mecha designs....hell...even the cannon fodder looks good....almost wished they were variable VF-4s.
  23. Hmmm...maybe its not painted yet...but it looks all plasticky and toy like.
  24. THe other models didn't look like the TV Version?
  25. I'd give it only a 3.5. It had much potential to be 5. You can say my hopes were quite high with it only to discover much was rushed at the end. All the characters were likeable, and all of them had such great potential for development but not much was done. IE: 1.) They could do alot with Winry's angst after finding out her parent's killers. But what does she do? Runs off...forgives and heads back to Reesenbool. War sucks...oh well...abit too fast IMHO. 2.) Major Armstrong...omg....they could've done so much more with this character as well...along with Roy Mustang. What made them fight the war....they were reluctant...but why do it? 3.) Scar. I think his story ended prematurely....albeit much was said about him and his goals. Hohenheim too. I was also disappointed that the way the series ended , didn't leave much closure....and also kinda closed that Al and Edward's adventures are long gone at least until much later. Anyway, about the movie, the screener is out raw today. I'll wait for a sub.
