About Exedol size, this is based on pure speculation. But remember in DYRL? Bodolza was a huge head? Maybe Exedol went through the same Mega-Macronization that Bodolza did. But if not, i'll just attribute it to animation mistake.

About pointy ear-ness, weren't all Zentraedi retconned to be pointy-eared in Macross 7 or was it just a trait of the Jenius women? The new valks do looks sorta like the VF-22 in fighter mode and battroid pics look like the VF-19/ VF-4. I'm stoked!

I wouldn't say they are aimed for kids.....but teenagers to adults. Anyway its not so unbelievable if the next macross series revolves around 16 year old kids in an ace fighter academy. Hikaru himself was only 16 when he boarded the SDF. I don't know about you guys but i hope this new series brings Macross to a bigger audience like Bandai Sunrise shows (Gundam, Eureka 7, Code Geass, Mai Hime) instead of just staying in a niche audience.

Sigh i'm so pumped to see the new trailer or if someone can sneak a camera into the concert hall on October....was it?

No you got me wrong....i was questioning BlackValkyrie's theory that this new anime is a UC storyline because the year is told in AD. I wanted to point out that if its UC, the year will be something like 0080, 0081, 0082 etc. This is in AD which is close to our future i guess. Though it could be argued this is the prequel to UC....i 'm not a gundam nut enough to know what's happening before Gundam.

Elbow is 90 degrees....no problem. Your elbow is 90 degrees too, right? Just like your arm, you swivel from your bicep and wrists so i don't find the elbow a problem. But bear in mind that the Revoltech Saber is known to have a QC defect on the right elbow. That joint seems to break easily or looks abit deformed on the connection causing stress. Mine looks deformed inside if looked at with scrutiny but no problems with it so far. I try to compare all joints to the human body. It ain't perfect but its more or less the same. That said, i don't have any problems with the shoulder though the hips its hard to get a perfect 90 degrees out of it. Yeah it just takes practice. The early Yamaguchi sculpts pre-revoltech (Evangelion comes to mind) days are even weirder as the joints are all on angles, not the usual GI-JOE joints we are all so used too. Overall its a nice presentation. My only qualm about paint/sculpt is the eyes. Her eyes are painted to look to the left, so the only "natural" pose for her head is to face left a little. If taken from another angle, it would look weird. I agree. I'm gonna take some pics when i return later. PS: I still can't get the stand to work. Maybe i lack imagination. Yeah dun really like the Dark Saber myself.

Its impossible for Exedol to be 3x Valkyries tall. He should be around 1 valkyrie tall or less. His head in the bridge is of right scale. If he was truly 3 valks tall, i'd think his head would take up the whole bridge.

I don't wanna rain on anyone's parade, but yet another friend of mine 3ROD-ed few days ago. This makes the casualty count 3 out of 5 of us that have 3ROD-ed. 1 of us gave up after getting it back from Microsoft, but now has texture problems on his box. He plans to collect funds to smash his xbox in front of the place he bought it. Another more resourceful friend decided to fix it on his own with the X-Clamp replacement method. So far running so good. The latest one he just sent it back to the shop. I'm considering selling off the box, and never looking back. Sigh.

During episode 26 of Mai Otome, there were blatant and obvious references to another Bandai Sunrise anime which included some "poses" as well as a remix of an insert song. Which anime was it referring to?
